@francious I didn't get it at this point either. After I beat the game I just went back and replayed this mission with the f-22. I beat it on hard. Not sure if that makes a difference though.

If you didnt know.. the F22-Raptor has a stealth design so it CANNOT be read or picked up on radar.

This coming from a 13 year old child? Please im 27 and have been in the military since i was 18 in airforce. We have a veteran who is almost 80 years old that flys an F22. The only possible way to be detected is by a sound radar. DO NOT, argue with me child.

Yes you are right. It can be shot down but the chances of that are Very slim.The only weapon that can possibly destroy it is a .50cal machine gun. Because the f22 has classified info i cannot tell you. But i can tell you that it dis-engages missiles with

It's hard playing this on PC. I'm an Ace Combat player, and I'm still a bit shakey on the PC controls. I'm not comparing them; they're both excellent games. My friends and I are actually planning to have a showdown on HAWX. I hope I can get used to the controls by then.

Really it depends on the situation. But the F-22 has more capabilites. If an f-22 came streaking into the battlefield from the north and the su came in from the south, the raptor would be able to lock on and shoot him down before he even appeared on the Su's radar. In close range combat the Su has a slight advantage in maneuverability due to its wing shape but it would have to constantly keep an eye on the raptor. I'd place my money on the raptor. But it ultimately comes down to the pilot.

Actually the Sukhoi is a bit faster and more agile than the Raptor. But that means nothing if you can't see what you're fighting.

Dunno. this is the ps3 version. Here you just double tap the R2 button so i'm guessing you have to double tap you right trigger. And you can only do that once you've reached a certain part of the game.

Yeah. It did that in ace combat for ps2 so maybe the devs just got a little lazy. Namco's project ace team filed a job listing for ps3 developers. That can only mean ACE COMBAT 7 FOR PS3 ^^

The Eurofighter is definately one of my favorites. The Raptor is the best but i also like the F-16 and the Su-37.

I know for a fact that you wont like it better than AC5 or 6. I'm an Ace combat fan but since they didnt make one for ps3 i decided to get this. While you will get some enjoyment out of it... it just isn't as good as Ace Combat.
