  • That dog is itching. It probobly has a flea. You eather ned to give him a belly rub or you need to give him a flea and tick bath.

  • ah hah hah hah! Thats what my dog does, but we bathe him like every 2 1/2 weeks or every 3 weeks....

  • looks just like my beagle, did the same thing.

    Enjoy him.

I had to put mine down last summer, cried for 9 days.

  • Mine does the same thing 2!

  • cute lol

  • Lol...that was cute!x)

  • It is cute my half beagle half Brittney does the same thing after he has his bath he also rushes around the entire house and is very playful.

  • LOL! I love when my beagle does that.

  • hahahahaa !

my beagle does the same thing XD

  • cus u retard bath him and didnt put something in his ear to keep it dry.

  • My beagles do the same thing after they get their ears cleaned... except crazier.

  • my beagle does the same thing

it runs around everywhere, and doesnt stop

    its hilarious

then it goes outside and rolls around in the grass

  • He's just mad that you destroyed his wonderful scent. He was probably working on his essence by rolling in squirrel crap for months~!

My beagle did this too (but mostly outside in the yard), in order to quickly restore his lovely scent. ;P

Beagles have their own idea of "good" perfume.

  • @murkin11 Chipmunk Poop nº5

  • Actually, my beagle would do this if I accidently got water in his ears.

  • My beagle does the exact same thing. What's UP with that? Don't know if he's trying to get rid of the smell or the opposite. My one scratches that way when he sees those smelly green bugs or he picks a spot where we used carpet cleaner and keeps rubbing on it

  • ACtually, beagles do NOT like baths as the don't like the unnatural scent it leaves on them. This beagle looks like it's trying to rid itself of that awful smell (to them it's awful). Then, when they're hunting, they don't have the human or dog smell on them. Beagles were bred to be a hunting dog. Before they hunt they'll rub around in dirt, mud or poop. Since there isn't any in your house, he does the next best thing by trying to rub the smell off using the carpet instead.

  • I hate to tell you but I would be willing to bet your dog, at best, needs it's ears cleaned or has an infection. This is very common with beagles. I own one. For his sake check it out.

  • He just got out of the bath tub.... He does not scratch his ears so often normally!!!

Thanks for the advice; I might take him to control anyway since it's so common...

  • Good man. I was afraid that my unsolicited advice would be offensive. You are a good beagle owner. Pura vida from Costa Rica!

  • i know my dog had an infection and we almost had to put him to sleep. :(
