You could do all of this with a turkey baster, a bit of paper towel, zap strap, and a small plastic nozzle for the butane bottle to enter the baster. I just made some pretty decent bho last night, that set up is insanely complicated. I can push 4-5 grams out of my little baster every... five minutes? Obviously itll take longer than that to set and be ready to smoke, but with new dishes and a couple basters you're good to go. You can whip it into butter too, or cook it a bit and let it sit.

@spg5812 my thoughts exactly. the teflon bag was a nice touch, seems much more efficient than scraping out a pyrex dish. and glass tube all the way - just make sure it's pyrex so it doesn't shatter. as someone who has used both, it makes no difference to the byproduct, although I do prefer the glass so I can see in the chamber.

teflon is fine the problem is his extract came out to dark. a huge problem with 95% of bho made in california. When i make bho i always end with 3 grades of it off one batch, not one batch of chlorophyll filled bho. The first run should be amber glass if properly done.

@leftover421 All metal will leach chemicals into your oil...? Don't think so-ever seen a Tamisium Butane Oil extractor-all 300 series stainless steel, used by research and food industry. Totally safe to use stainless for a tube. This guy does throw in a lot of useless steps-I'd advise him to buy a Tamisium or PM me for custom made/welded hand held vacuum extraction systems.

PVC is the worst thing to use because the phthalates leech out due to the butane. PVC is ok for water, not ok for solvents. Use glass or clean stainless only.

I've made this same exact extract since 2001! I used to drip and scrape off of a mirror after drying for a week. Then i just started dripping into a ziplock and drying it there for a week, before I finally started using Oven bags to catch the BHO and heat to evaporate. Rock hard honey oil, delta-9, honey crack, crack oil are few names that this product has carried. If only I could find a tank of quality Butane..these 12oz cans are not cuttin these 12 50 gal contractor bags of shake.

@paulrpmg i use kings and a aluminum pipe and a glass pie dish. i want a glass pipe too but cant find one. when i use buds it comes out as really potent amber glass oil after i heat it and cool it. it wont powder up on a hot plate though. the only way i know how to powder it is with coold amber and grind it with a razor

that wayy too much work for that my way is 10 times easier u dont even have to freeze it u use the same method blowin the butane though the tube but into a pyrex bowl that is stoive proof and a hot plate, after all the liquid is colected then u cook out the butane wit the bolw of water then after its starting to get sticky u put it on the hot plate for about 10 mins while moving the oil around with a pin to relase the rest of the butane then let cool then smoke ill try to take a vid next time
