I saw this band play right before Best Coast over the summer. At the time, I thought they sounded pretty decent. But now I realize that was just my festival high. This girl's voice is bad, and not in the good way. It's squeaky, slipping outta tune all over the place, and this is a professional recording! Man, when are young dudes out there gonna learn it's not enough to have a pretty face with a girl singer. Best Coast rocked though, can't wait to see them live again.

I happen to enjoy her voice. Also, Cults is a duo with the girl and the guitarist singing back-up. The rest of touring members. So she's one-half of the band, without her there's no Cults.
