My nationality is made up of sime of the worlds greatest historical warriors. My mother is descended from a samurai who fought in the Meiji restoration, and a cherokee warrior. My father, great grandson of a famed british duelist, and along the line the blood diverged into nordic raiders (vikings) and celtic nomads, and at one point a germanuc nomad, (they produced the term "berserker") This song makes me think of this often. I'm proud. I dont even know why it reminds me, but I'm glad Emelie it.

This song is brilliant! I live in a place that doesn't even have a city and is really sparsely populated. The hills a really similar to those in the picture. This just reminds me of days walking on the hills being in a totally different world full of magic and knights.

Blackmore's Night can do better medieval-sounding stuff, in my humblest of opinions. However, Emilie did a nice job, and I still do like this song a lot--especially considering the circumstances surrounding it. It was very noble of her to write something in memory of those we lost in the Sep. 11 attacks.
