Dont know about USA but here in Finland we have high unemployent rate because the social security is just way too good (or the salary is way too low).

What's the reason to waste 40h a week for work if after taxes and necessery bills you get same money than a jobless one.

I work full time and my friends are on the dole and post facebook comments about how they're hungover, after drinking away their dole money, which was taken from my and my girlfriend's wages. So, when I'm up at 6 and they're just getting to bed I can (not) rest assured that they're using the dole to get back to work, not just living a sedentary lifestyle drinking and drugging into the wee hours while complaining about politicians and everything else.

Milwaukee is still a largely segregated metro area.

It is a huge aftershock from years of redlining. Which, in a way, still exists here in Milwaukee. Less of the profits to be gained by banks from using racial ignorance to hike (or drop) property values, more of racial ignorance just still existing in the area.

This isn't the employers' faults nor MKE's, it is, in a way, the scared kids from Oz. and Wash. Counties fault who don't want to move back into the area.

Businesses have left the country because of the policy by our local and federal governments. The attempt is to move toward a one world government. We made a move with NAFTA,CAFTA and GAT. These policies have given our industry an option to move out the country with no backlash. What country would do this? Our jobs are still there, they are just in another country. If people don't gather some sane thoughts, and soon, everything will disappear. We have become a vacation state,TSA is scaring them.

Umm From my point of view Black American are having very low quality in their performance in the work place. This is not about racism but it's about performance. Hispanic are better, but the best are Indian-american they are now among the richest american. But these recent day a lot of Indian American return to India to seek a better future.
