I think Susan is wrong and it is wrong for her to assume like she has been doing in the media that Ike would support Obama. Eisenhower was a loyal Republican. His policies were fairly conservative and at least moderate to conservative. He wouldve opposed Iraq I imagine, but he wouldnt be some anti-war idiot. He was certainly a fiscal conservative. I dont Eisenhower would be supporting democracy and human rights abroad, he approved covert actions to overthrow elected governments.
