Great video David. I think your statement about Dan on your Folkworks page is dead on: "Gellert sounds like a resurrected musician who would have been recording in the 1920s and 1930s. He doesn't sound like a modern interpreter of a great master, but like one of the gods from the old-time pantheon of mountain string players that never was."
