This song is so early '90's New York City. Coming out of the late '80's "crack wars", many of the city's poorest neighborhoods were bombed out, decrepit, despondent ghettos. Or in short, "dilapidated". The city's gotten a whole lot better, but there are still some shady portions especially at night, and I always think back to this BGM as I walk through them, hoping not to get mugged and/or beaten/shot.
@SuperAdventures i agree more than 100 percent with that comment.this definitly reminds me of the early 90's when dinkins was mayor with all the abannded buildings in nyc and playing sor in this stage does remind me alot of walking down the streets in nyc in the early 90's
Next time that I will get trouble whit some guys I will say: "wait a second bastard, I just have to put a song to kick your ass" and it will be this one haha !!
walking down the streets at night, flashing lights on each boulevard. Gangs with blue jackets and bandanas on their forehead with their pocket knife playin dice on that intersection. There's barely any lights on.

When I hear this songs, my brain automatically adds the missing game sounds, like fire-breathing fat men etc.

love the police siren!

the way the police siren has become part of the music is sheer genius.
If other artists did it, they'd make it really blatant and it'd be sad and pretentious.
But Koshiro is the man. He pulls it off and it sounds bloody excellent.

@Karmoon7 He made the police sirens sound so good that I never noticed it until you pointed it out.
