@Annahealthseeker TRX is an inelastic workout strap system. Resistance bands are elastic. With the TRX, you anchor the straps to a sturdy object and then use your own bodyweight as resistance. With resistance bands, you anchor the bands to a sturdy object and stretch out the bands for resistance.
Very good observation, and I agree 100% that dips are much more effective than TRX triceps extensions.
There are two types of people that TRX triceps extensions are perfect for:
1) People who don't have access to any gym equipment other than their TRX.
2) People who aren't strong enough to do dips.
But if you're strong enough to do dips, and have access to a parallel bar dip station, then do dips most of the time and occasionally do TRX triceps extensions instead just to change things up.
Just curious, what is the difference between a TRX and exercise bands?

same thing with these triceps exercises for the TRX. I feel like your better off doing the traditional dips. What are your thoughts?
