  • Great video :) it must have been a real bitch putting the text up there. We appreciate it.

I like hearing the American pilots and waving a little American flag in my head whenever I hear them lmao.

  • 7:56 Durage? Lol... You mean QNH?

  • Why was their no flights aloud in?

  • @joaofbi4321 ash cloud from Eyjafjallajokull volcano

  • 2:05 says "Southampton 3 Papa"

    2:35 says "passing 4200 climbing 6000 Southampton 3 Juliet"

    3:02 says "confirm maintaining 3000"

And I think the callsign 42040 is actually Air Malta 040.

Nice video. I love the way the controller says zero.

  • why did they stop flighhts?

  • @Trek001 *flights - was it the volcano?

  • what's the "Dew point" ?? nice recording

  • @cazzeggetor3 Dew point is the temperature at when water in the air condenses.

  • Busiest Airspace in the world south east U.K.!

  • ATC voice so sexy woman! mmm

  • This puts an end once and for all, if there were any doubts anywhere, that women can do a job just as well as a man, ATC at heathrow is it.

I would love to be an ATC controller, but if this happened, ie. busy, I'd be like "hey listen I need to go out for a cigarette cause I can't handle this"

  • there was an additional, simple misunderstanding in the subtitle, (furthermore the QNH) when you say receive own navigation... this is resume own navigation, usually.

    any way, well done.

  • Interesting stuff, couple of corrections: squark is squawk and Durage is actually QNH in the ATIS.

  • @krajorama1: exactly

  • i need to pee!

  • i believe the american pilot says, "what's that frequency for american eight-zero again?"

  • @vegasatc I've been replaying it and I think he does say major. But i'll take this as a chance to say to everyone I know my subtitles aren't 100% accurate.

  • @cheesemaster1000 Definitely "What's that frequency for American eight-zero again?"

Also, is it just a spelling error or should squark be squawk? I'm an American (read as nationality not airline) pilot and know we do things differently sometimes, just curious. i.e. QNH vice Altimeter.

  • Heathrow Ground is 121.700 not 118.500. I apologise I was in a rush to get the sub titles completed. I love it when the American pilot says "What was that frequency again, something major on the end"
