It was a little light for the conditions but when I rigged up the night before I thought it was going to be a lot clearer being that it was at record lows. The rods we are using are made for the lighter line and can put plenty of pressure on a fish. The light weight line helps the micro jigs move more naturally in the water too.
Cool but why do you guys always use such light leaders ? Is it to keep the jig from rising up in the current ? Visability ? Could you get away with 8lb flouro ? 4-6 lb seems light especially in those bedrock coastal rivers. Anyway, keep up the cool vids !
