All you law and order dumbshits blow it out your ass. The corporations are ripping us off every day. Talk about over priced, cereal is some the most obscenely priced crap you can purchase at the store. It really is not stealing, you are merely paying a price closer to what it should actually be. Survival in a world dominated by the profit motive takes desperate measures.
It's no wonder the website is no longer around. This is ridiculous. I'm all for helping the consumer, but cheating the retailer is not a valid improvement to shoppers anywhere. Just by collecting the upc data and product information you can give the consumer an upper hand. This way, they can buy the cheaper or best rated product from another store. I'm not a fan of ShopSavvy, an android app, but it at least does this.
Even a slight weight issue they even call someone over to "help you" (to make sure you're not shoving stuff you didn't pay for into the cart)
Agreed! This would prob. only work if you got the same exact weight...different brand name. Example....1/2 pound of butter (generic)... 1/2 pound of butter (brand name). That would work. Sweet idea...but it's stealing...and I'd feel too nervous and prob. stand out like a sore thumb! LOL

Self-serve terminals often WEIGH the products you are purchasing, so too much of a weight difference will be detected.
