The drops aren't bad at all. I wouldn't even call them drops, rather than dips, but its not the drops that cause adrenaline to rush through your body, its just about everything else!

I know a lot of Disneyland's secrets, and I know one thing about this ride that you guys will not beleve! There are three doors right? Well, It's an absoulote gurentee that every car has an assighned door. Well, on the purple door, there are two less golden snake statues! And none of them have two forks on thier tonges!

i'm not sure what you're getting at, but i do know that there is a rotation that the "doors" go through. 1 goes through middle....then 2 go through left,...then 1 through middle...then 2 through right...then 1 through middle and so on. The track is the same, and the only thing that changes in the room is the lighting. In reality there is one "real" door that all vehicles go through, and 4 fake doors. Look it up on wikipedia...it has a nice diagram of the effect

Nope! I Rode the ride fourteen times! I counted each detail and everything. Each car goes through a different door, but they all lead the same way. It's not the lighting, because if you turn to the side, there are pictures representing what gift your car "Happened" to chose. You willl relize it if you go to Disneyland as often as I do. I live 15 minutes from disneyland, and have ridden this ride several hundred times...no joke. When I was 12 I had a huge obsession with this ride and actually got in contact with someone I knew who worked in it. I was able to go to the control tower and the old "ice making" room, an effect that no longer works. The "gifts" that your are talking about are actually scrims. If you go through the right door, "timeless youth and beauty", the scrims are visible. I'll send a link to blueprints

You're right about the walls moving forward and the jeep standing still, but the boulder does move forward a little, around 6-10 feet. It is not much, but it helps the effect greatly. It is also suspended on an axis and it never stops spinning while the ride is operating.

The Boulder Scene is really perfect, the boulder is actully real, its the walls that actually move on the ride, not the jeep or the ball, also special effects like the strobe lights aslo help with the allison of the ball moving

I looked up on Hidden mickey that at the end in the boulder cave the shell is moving (You are barely moving in the jeep) And the animitronic boulder (once your under it) is on a track and is 25 feet away from you! (seems like 5 feet)
