And years later, Luke would be listening to that stupid message over and over and he'd never get it. He probably would've never rescue Leia. And he'd attempt to destroy the Death Star, but he didn't know the force so unmasked Vader would've killed him. Bespin would've been destroyed and the Empire would rise. But what if Yoda raised him or trained him by the time Luke met Obi-Wan?

This way George Lucas could salvage a bit of his reputation and all of us who love the originals could go on happily knowing that The Phantom Menace and Attack of the clones weren't a part of the original Star Wars but a part of a new Trilogy.. For each episode of the original trilogy the writers change something- In IV, Luke misses his shot at the death star, In V Luke dies on Hoth, in VI Leia's thermal detonator goes off in Jabba's palace... and a whole new story is written. Loved those. This would have been great for III...

this was a cool alternate ending, but what I cant stand is how apparently the Force Unleashed and similar stories are canon... so Darth Vader was planning on killing Palpatine all along, he only saved Luke cuz it was convenient... it REALLY takes away from his character. originally it was "my son is dying, I won't let this happen. he was right", but now it's "eh, was gonna kill this guy anyways, might as well do it now I guess..."
@SonicSnail95 I might be taking it wrong but i always thought it was from the first force unleashed that Palpatine was manipulating Vader (like in the entire story) and has vader train starkiller so they can crush any possible rebellion then have starkiller replace vader but vader found out and even then still continued to listen I think it was the oppisite Palipitine once vader was in the suit planned on replacing him example being starkiller and luke vader just follow cause he has nothing else
I love the original movies and The Force Unleashed; Vader saving Luke had nothing to do with him planning to kill Palpatine anyway; he originally was gonna kill him because that's what the Sith do. However, Luke helped Vader realize there was still good in him, and when he was being tortured by Palpatine, the good broke through. Vader was unable to bear his own son suffering (the whole reason he joined the Dark Side in the first place was to save his family), so he saved him.
I dunno. There would probably be several cloned Padme's . I dunno If he would rule with an iron fist though because the only reason he became a jedi was to free his mother according to the wiki. SO I assume he would kill alot of people on tatoine
The cloned versions of his wife could not do anything to replace the woman he had love and fallen for. He would have been as much as a tyrant as Palpatine except he would be more bluntly despotic, outright committing genocide without hiding it in propaganda while training Starkiller as his replacement son. Meanwhile Obi-Wan in a life support armor similar to in the original helps Luke seek to depose his father and ultimately fights Starkiller to see who is the true son
I disagree that the movie should have ended like this, he should have been burned and put back into that mask, because anything that prevents Hadyen Christensen from getting less speaking roles in a movie is the preferable outcome.
Now this would've made an awesome non-canon alternate universe saga if they included this ending in the movie, like how Ultimate Sith Edition was expanded after Force Unleashed.
Vader becomes Emperor, but realises his wife died out of his blind anger and quest for power, and he slowly accepts his new role as ruler of the galaxy. But since padme was still brough onboard her ship by 3PO like in the movie, she still gives birth to luke and liea, and it's up to them to bring their father down.

The fuck acid trip were they on? I liked when the movie ended, and I had a good laugh at the jokes in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, specially at the end, where Vader shows his suit, couldn't have been funnier. Didn't know George lucas was into comedy.

this was a cool alternate ending, but what I cant stand is how apparently the Force Unleashed and similar stories are canon... so Darth Vader was planning on killing Palpatine all along, he only saved Luke cuz it was convenient... it REALLY takes away from his character. originally it was "my son is dying, I won't let this happen. he was right", but now it's "eh, was gonna kill this guy anyways, might as well do it now I guess..."

@SonicSnail95 I might be taking it wrong but i always thought it was from the first force unleashed that Palpatine was manipulating Vader (like in the entire story) and has vader train starkiller so they can crush any possible rebellion then have starkiller replace vader but vader found out and even then still continued to listen I think it was the oppisite Palipitine once vader was in the suit planned on replacing him example being starkiller and luke vader just follow cause he has nothing else

I love the original movies and The Force Unleashed; Vader saving Luke had nothing to do with him planning to kill Palpatine anyway; he originally was gonna kill him because that's what the Sith do. However, Luke helped Vader realize there was still good in him, and when he was being tortured by Palpatine, the good broke through. Vader was unable to bear his own son suffering (the whole reason he joined the Dark Side in the first place was to save his family), so he saved him.

I dunno. There would probably be several cloned Padme's . I dunno If he would rule with an iron fist though because the only reason he became a jedi was to free his mother according to the wiki. SO I assume he would kill alot of people on tatoine

The cloned versions of his wife could not do anything to replace the woman he had love and fallen for. He would have been as much as a tyrant as Palpatine except he would be more bluntly despotic, outright committing genocide without hiding it in propaganda while training Starkiller as his replacement son. Meanwhile Obi-Wan in a life support armor similar to in the original helps Luke seek to depose his father and ultimately fights Starkiller to see who is the true son

I disagree that the movie should have ended like this, he should have been burned and put back into that mask, because anything that prevents Hadyen Christensen from getting less speaking roles in a movie is the preferable outcome.

Now this would've made an awesome non-canon alternate universe saga if they included this ending in the movie, like how Ultimate Sith Edition was expanded after Force Unleashed.
Vader becomes Emperor, but realises his wife died out of his blind anger and quest for power, and he slowly accepts his new role as ruler of the galaxy. But since padme was still brough onboard her ship by 3PO like in the movie, she still gives birth to luke and liea, and it's up to them to bring their father down.

@TheTruthIsGonnaHurt Amusingly enough that was Sidious master he was talking about, and it is stated that only he could actually do it, because he could manipulate mindiclhorian bacteria in such a way which allowed him to. So in actual fact Sidious practically made a gamble right there just to see how downright idiotic Anakin was.
