the shooters appear to be about 50 yards from the reconstructed section of Ft Necessity... is there any documentation/records of the actual range of the French positions against the fort?... 50 yards seems a bit close.

@britbrig8th I'm not a historian or firearms expert but I believe the effective range of a smoothbore musket is about 50-100 yards.
