i've had my LG VU for less then a day and i Love it! I read the reviews and the texting is actually great.. even though it takes a day or two to get used to.. after that you will be a texting touch screen master :-) the only thing i do not like is that you can't set a ringtone for the textmessages but other then that... THIS PHONE IS THE SHIT!

if the instinct and vu is locked then it wont and iphone is only like your finger so its quite not possible

i think on personol opinion that the instinct was best, iphone second, and vu last. if you think about it the instinct is loaded with all of the things you want in a phone. voice to action, most accurate GPA, wide scape text screen, and much more than an iphone can handle. but i do think the iphone 3g is close and i wont complain for that but i still stick with the instinct.

Yep, the iPhone has what they call an Accelerometer, which automatically turns the screen to landscape mode whenever you turn the device. Pretty neat!

I saw the instinct in person finally and...I wasn't all that impressed. I mean its kinda cool but it felt really cheap compared to my iPod Touch (I've never held an iPhone). the typping tends to lag a lot

the apps freeze

the web browser sometimes tend to kick you out

MY songs get deleted randomly off the phone

doesnt allow me to check my email when i have WiFi and full bars

those are some examples and problems that i have with mine.
