  • commentators were nunns paid fucking cock riders "if nunn uses anymore speed toney will completley out of it) what a pile of shit nunn was good no doubt but those commentators need to get michaels cock out their mouth and look at the good stuff toney did

  • THESE COMMENTATORS DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT BOXING. THEY SHOULD BE FIRED.

  • people often say this was a one sided victory for nunn until the 11th round, but that's not true at all! james took a lot of the middle and later rounds, and easily took the first. he just landed all of the best punches of the fight, countered beautifully, paced himself, and played tremendous defense.

  • People need to understand that guys in 1930's and 40's fought 150 to 200 plus times and got good @ not getting hit. Guys like Archie Moore, Joe Louis, Ezzard Charles, Willie Pep, Ray Robinson all need to be studied more by boxers now days. Guys like La Motta also need to be studied to show the importance of heart.

  • @dirtbagwhitetrash Referring to James Toney's style of course. He is old school in style and attitude he has never ducked anyone.

  • Michael Nunn... greatest champion and hall of famer.

  • there is no way Nunn landed 60 punches in the first 2 rounds :D almost all the ones which weren't slipped or avoided landed on the arms of toney on the inside.

  • It's clear here in this 1st round that Toney is the best fighter Nunn has faced. I seen Toney land counter straight rights that Nunn had never been hit with and Toney did it with ease. BTW, Nunn was not winning this fight big, it was close fight until Toney knocked his ass out. These commentators so bias, saying Nunn was so much stronger bullshit!

  • @sinusbradycardia I agree 100% with you. I did not see Nunn winning the first half by landslide. The shit was close the whole way through...until tthose Toney right hands started rocking the hell outta Nunn in the later rounds. Then it was "Lights Out"!

  • it's so funny..... the bias from the commentators is clear, even though you can hear the panic of dundee between rounds... round 1 through 3, toney was landing all the bigger shots and nunn was just landing light jabs and meaningless flurries most of which toney was avoiding... but when people have a preconceived notion of who the better 'boxer' is they tend to ignore who's actually doing the better boxing.

  • Never really liked Nunn , dont know why maybe cause he looks soo cocky!! or his straight up style... but he was good. Not as good as Toney though..

  • i am glad Toney wiped that fuckin smirk off nunn's face

  • Man,look at the speed and skill level of these two. Imagine if these two were around today. Pavlik, Williams, and Martinez would be nothing more than opponents to them, wouldn't even be considered threats. And I highly doubt any of the promoters of the super six would even allow these two in the tournament. Good fight.

  • there used to be another upload of this fight with the entrances... oh well... all we want to see is the action in the ring... love this fight. Great day for james toney fans!!!

  • james toney , sweet pea & floyd money may.......sweet science defined

  • @5686tobi Juan Manuel Marquez is sweet science defined. If your boy Floyd didn't cheat he would have beat rather easily. JMM vs Floyd at 135 JMM would be the favorite

  • @tatertots00 That's a joke and a half. It would be the same fight, Floyd would just get more credit for it.

  • @JDezi4 lawl if it would have been the same fight then why did he cheat?

  • @tatertots00

He didn't cheat actually, it was a welterweight fighting a welterweight. Despite that, I don't know why he chose not to make the catchweight, maybe it's becuz catchweights r crap and he didn't want to be apart of that load. That certainly doesn't prove he would get beat at 135.

  • @JDezi4 He cheated he came in over the decided weight. I liked Floyd a lot before he decided to cheat against JMM. Floyd knows that he can only beat guys that don't know how to box smart he was scared JMM would out box him.

  • @tatertots00

He boxed Zab Judah who is fast than Marquez and equally as good a boxer, be it a different style.

  • @JDezi4 Judah is a terrible "boxer" with no technique Zab was 100% athleticism 0% skill. Fast hands doesn't make a good boxer

  • @tatertots00

    lol

    U really believe that?

  • @JDezi4 That is common knowledge Judah is a terrible boxer. How do you loss to Carlos Baldimir if you are good boxer?

  • @tatertots00

Becuz u have weak mental-stamina and no heart... That's how. But as far as fundamental skill, Judah lacked little if anything. His only problem was he had weak mental-stamina and probably doesn't train very hard either.

  • @JDezi4 you are wrong. Judah has no technique. Either way I don't care about Judah. I can't believe I am even talking to someone who thinks a Zab fuckin Judah is an equally as good a boxer(your words) as a Hall of Fame bound Juan Manuel Marquez

  • @tatertots00

I guess... If the only thing ur going on saying Judah ain't a good boxer is that he lost to Baldomir, ur boxing knowledge is clearly lacking, so I guess there's little I can actually tell. Plus it's been my experience u Youtube fanboy pussies r just going to be stubborn pieces of shit hiding safely behind ur keyboards

  • @JDezi4 Judah at best a C level fights as is any other fighter that losses to Baldomir. I can't believe you really said Zab Judah is an equally good boxer as a fucking future Hall Of Famer

  • @tatertots00

Yeah, becuz he lost to Baldomir. I guess u firmly believe Tyson was a C class fighter cuz he lost to McBride. Or Pacquiao's a D class fighter cuz he got KO'd by Torrecampo. Losers, man... Losers

  • @JDezi4 Tyson and Pacman weren't in there prime when they lost to medicore fighters Judah was.

  • Comment removed

  • @tatertots00

Maybe I should have brought up Buster Douglas

  • @JDezi4 Buster Douglas was a huge underdog but not as C level fighter and that fight was more Tyson giving up then Douglas beating him.

  • @tatertots00

Douglas may not have been a C level fighter, but he damn sure ain't elite, and there's no damn reason Tyson should have lost him. It was Tyson NOT TRAINING and NOT TAKING THE FIGHT SERIOUSLY. That's the kinda shit Zab Judah is known for. Do u think a C level fighter could outbox a prime Junior Witter. Even in his later years he gave fighters like Cotto tough fights. Cotto just broke him down physically and mentally. U think Baldomir could even dream of giving Cotto a tough fight?

  • @JDezi4

It wasn't about training with Tyson he was just a head case and gave up on the fight

So Judah didn't train against every good fighter he fought Cotto Kostya Floyd etc etc he lost to all of them in his prime Judah is a medicore fighter plan and simple even if he was average he still wouldn't be on the same planet as Juan Manuel Marquez

  • @tatertots00

Well, the point simply is, he is a FUNDAMENTALLY and PHYSICALLY sound boxer. No average fighter could touch him on a good day. And the most elite fighters would have trouble with him no matter how the fight ended. When u compare the people he fought to the people Marquez fought, he may not have fought more Elite fighters, but he fought more fundamentally sound fighters. Bet ur account Cotto's a harder fight to any skilled fighter than Chris John.

  • @tatertots00

Why is this marked as spam?

And to answer ur question... Judah actually BEAT Spinks. Judah also beat Corley, Witter, and really went undefeated at 140. So ur telling me any fundamentally and physically sound boxer should be able to at least beat 1 of Floyd, Cotto, Baldomir, Spinks etc etc? So any fundamentally and physically sound boxer could beat one of them in their prime... Lol, I'll put $200 it's not Cotto, Spinks, or Floyd.

  • @5686tobi maybe not pernell.... he's southpaw.

  • Ever since the Ali era ended, Dundee's been on the losing side a lot, hasnt he?

  • sugar ray leonard ????

  • He trained Leonard? Well, thats an exception...

  • Thanks for uploading. Huge James Toney fan.

I think he can beat the Klit!

  • Nunn could have been a hall of famer, if he could have just stayed away from trouble...

  • its riduclous how thin toney is man

  • ive saved this to my playlist like a million times...and a million times youtube takes it down.... at least people keep posting it thanks...
