This is nothing like the snowball fights my friends and I have in Cary, NC. Were clocking our shots in at 45+mph, and 3/4 of the shots are are at 50+ft. Leme tell you, nothing is harder, than hitting someone at that distance, esp after your arm gets tired....that, and they have a high reaction time. So throw fast, throw many and make sure to lead. I nailed my friend as he was running zig zag away from me. 55ft. I lead him, it sailed and contacted him on the back of his head.
