  • people sicken me. somehow feeling that these individuals somehow deserve respect. you have no idea. none what so ever. i dont deny waterboarding is not torture, what i do believe is that it is far less worse than say....a medieval rack, or the use of a blow torch, are we really arguing that at the most 1 minute of torture on a heartless, preaching fascist, is not acceptable, even if the information they provide can save lives?

  • What's the big deal? CIA only did it in three instances since US's the war on terror started in 2001 (Islam war on us started in 7th century), where every other option had been attempted & failed. This is still nowhere near to what any jihadis would do to any of you if captured. Plus in every arab prison they use far worse interrogations on their own citizens than any of these westerners ever dreamt of. In that part of the world they only have 1 use of Geneva Convention - to wipe after cat poo

  • @mowgly3000: how would you know what arab countries use on their citizens? the big deal is torture is agaisnt international law, no goverment should legalize it. besides what do they gain out of torture. it certainly isnt any valid information. if they use it on other people; how long do you think it would be before they would started using it on american citizens?

and by the way ur an idiot.

  • @elipse135 I do know becaue I have a gift of literacy & eysight watch?v=drd1O3iba9A. It is most probable waterboarding Khalid Mohammed led us to the courier of OBN & to the wretched rat himself: watch?v=uogDcF6h444 . Ask Hamas or Sudan or Iranian Fascist Guards when was the last time they adhered to international law. In order for international law to have any binding in that world, OIC must dump sharia & sign it first. Just 'cause I don't sucribe to your moral relativism doesnt make me an idiot

  • At 3.20 he says: 'I thought I should try again'. I don;t think it is torture, just a highly effective enhanced interrogation method.

If Christopher Hitchens was forced to do a 4-mile run, he would probably call it torture. How do you think his endurance and dedication to writing his piece for Vanity Fair compares with the endurance and dedication of a religiously inspired fanatic planning to blow up hundreds of people in order to go to heaven?

Long term effects - panic depression? didums

  • @alekcy The point you make about water boarding is fucking terrible. I doubt a marathon runner would consider a 4 mile run torture. So are you implying that a marathon runner would have just lied there in peace, and calmly given in to passing out due to lack of oxygen and not have any adverse psychological effects from being fucked around with.

You're a fucking idiot. Learn some fucking logic. If you can effectively surf youtube I'm sure you can use google.

  • @alekcy Hitchens was in a controlled environment where he could stop it at anytime. The point of waterboarding is to squeeze information out of people, but obviously (if you weren't so convinced waterboarding was an amiable practice and actually listened to a fucking word of the report) you would have heard Hitchens say that you'd do anything to make this stop.

You would have also acknowledged the fact that people don't know anything they give bad information just to stop it.

  • @alekcy And mostly realize that there is a risk of lung damage or heart failure.

  • Lets be honest these men they water board are trying to kill us, hate us, kill out troops and terrorise us. So waterboarding is toatlly justified, I am adamant on this if we don't fight fire with fire how can we expect to win?

  • What's the song they were playing?

  • whats that horrorible song

  • why cant we all live in peace??? =(

    este mundo esta podrido!

  • @ConstanzaRocio212919 We'd all have to be pacifist for that I think. But few people are.

  • They're animals, so let's be animals too. Makes perfect sense.

Also, the innocent ones that often get picked up in the process, they totally had it coming, too.

Torture doesn't work, and it's AGAINST WORLD LAW. There's no reason for us to be doing it. Shit, we got more out of the Nazis with steak and cigarettes than anyone ever did with torture.

  • @Cleverconveyence Yes, but what would you do if an outside force invaded your home city's? Would you not do the same? Hypocrisy is not a good color for the world...

  • @damianburdeney No, torture is never justified, and it's not even that useful. In fact, it's often counter-productive. I'm not even quite sure that you're trying to say.

  • @Cleverconveyence totally agree mate.

  • @Cleverconveyence Wow I am an American and I cannot believe you are going against your own govermnment.

  • @mercedes1benz1 Make no mistake, not all of us are mindless shills. Just like, a little less than half of us. Some of us can see right from wrong.

  • @Cleverconveyence I do not care I am with the government.

  • @Cleverconveyence Join our Facebook page, Investigate Bush Administration for war crimes.

  • @skater4life61961

    You try it

  • Read a book you tool.

  • @skater4life61961 I don't think you really understand the psychological implications of waterboarding. ''Some victims were still traumatized years later'. One patient couldn't take showers, and panicked when it rained even years after his abuse.' There is a real risk of death from actually drowning or suffering a heart attack or damage to the lungs from inhalation of water. Long term effects include panic attacks, depression and PTSD.

  • I say you do what you got to do LMAO. It better then getting your ass beat.

  • makes you wonder who is the real 'evil' in this world thank god bush is gone before we start cutting peoples heads off and call it normal !george bush used a 'title' to mask his crimes

  • how come it feels like your drowning i dont get it

  • I can't say this is right so don't quote me on it but it's due to the water dripping through the towel and the fact it masks your mouth making it difficult to breath.

  • Im getting sick of this shit now.We all no what the score is,so why dont WE do something? I no I will. Its like going back in time to the dark ages. But "THEY" seem to get away with it. AAARRRrr! YES IM PISSED OFF!

  • Toture,is apparently worse than death! Althogh i have no proof of that. Its just a thought, and a few words taken from people who have apparantly been in that situation! IT SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN NO MATTER WHAT! SICKO,s.

  • You must be a pretty sick individual to get off on doing something like that to another person. Sick power hungry people in official positions given the power to behave like this by other sick'os are in my view in need of phycological help. People who conduct these acts onto other people must have been abused as children themselves, and are inflicting their own distress onto their victims. Whats the world coming to hey? Their is a universal justice and the eyes of truth are always watching you.

  • well im not on any side really so dont get mad at me or whatever.let me ask you a question??

what would happen if say u knew a man who had a pin code to a bomb and thretened to blow up your entire family and loved ones?? what would you do? you would try anything to get the pin code of him and if that ment tourture you would do it to save your family! this is an extreme example but its also used in extreme conditions dont forget. i think if used 'properly' its a very good idea of getting answers

  • orgonite these evil places

  • Even I wouldnt believe any information gotten from torture was at all true, I couldnt even convict a person for anything (even for any confessions) I'd void them completely.

To me, the whole thing invalidates itself as well as any confession.

This was considered a war crime, and to me it still is.

  • Note this was aired on BBC2 and not BBC1 - whereas it would have had many more views.

  • what's the deal with the song by enigma called gravity of love?
