  • tyt are socialists

  • The way I see it is that there are the bankers, the major corporations, and the military industrial complex (MIC) that control the country. If there ceased to be taxes collection from corporations and the rich and the only tax revenue was from the middle and lower middle class, my assumption is that the revenues from the middle and lower middle class will be significantly lower.Since the MIC feeds off tax dollars, where are they going to get their funding? It seems like the MIC's gonna be pissed.

  • For one who rants on and on about nuance Cenk is shite at spotting it in assessing the comments of those he regards as his political opponents

  • If it were me, I would bring down the whole damn IRS! I would remove all Federal Taxes on people. I would replace it with a Federal/State Tax. This would allow all states to have their own tax rates, and codes, putting the states in control of their economy. All states would then pay a fee of 15-20%, of all the money they collected in taxes, to the federal government.

  • Wow! It is amazing to watch these people stuff their heads further and further up their own asses. What is even more amazing is that there are people dumb enough to buy this crap.

  • between the closed two party system, lobbying, and now disfranchisement with voter ID laws we might as well not vote LOL..

  • doesnt matter if its republicans or democrats. both are in the system to defraud the american people. nothing has changed since obama's been in office. war, guitmo, transparency. and the official raping of the people. rights, for a higher purpose money.

no wonder, the politicians are lawyers.

  • Republicans wallow in depravity.

  • Federal government employees add nothing to the economy. Government produces nothing and it takes tax dollars to pay them. Public sector wages and pensions are way out of control. It's getting so that the only choice is between capitolism and starvation. Stop coveting what others have and get a real job for a change.

  • @Hughganaught Yup, lets completely eradicate all government employees. Lets start with that giant military cash cow.

  • @OtakuRebel Our constitution dose not call for funding our military without congressanal concent. A standing army is unconstituional, so yeah, defund the army.

  • I stands with Michelle Bachmann for a flat rate tax since i run my own corp. makes taxes easy and i don't feel like ppl above or below me are cheating taxes.

  • It amazes me that these idiots are still in office. Who the hell keeps voting these jokers in? Someone needs to finally pierce through the veil of stupidity in this country. I live in VA and the people here are even worse then those who allow for repiggies to be voted into congress over and over. They have no rights or protections or privacy in this "commonwealth" yet they just loooove these repiggies

  • @the1tigglet OK, you dont like Reps, but you nevr mention a specific policy you dislike. Name one.

  • @luvcheney1 oh i dunno let's start with the "right to work" horrible bill, basically they can fire you at any time for anything and you have no legal standing to defend yourself, the "thought police" bill where you can't speak "dirty words" or you'll be fined, and then there's the most ridiculous alchohol sales law, if someone with you in line doesn't have their id they can't buy, are you kidding me? and that's just VA laws. I'm not even starting on the one where police can invade your home.

  • @the1tigglet I never have observed any state that didnt have age limits on alcohol sales, and businesses may require everyone to present an ID, so employees are not able to use discretion, so they check everyone. One I said "Reps", I meant a policy "Republicans" support. Feel free to make an opinion, and we can discuuss it, but you just are using things you dislike, not a contrast of Lib to Conservative. I never met anyone who didnt think alcohol ought to be restricted by age before.

  • @luvcheney1 age limits are one thing but not trusting people will be able to make the right choice is where it steps over the line. So basically you are telling me that if you are a parent and you wanna buy ice cream for your child who is obese it's okay for the cashier to refuse you because there's a new rep law that told the cashier he will be fined and put in jail because he is contributing to the delinquincy of a minor. look up the definition, they can use this too you know. its coming

  • @the1tigglet In general, free market supporters want smaller govt, fewer regulations. They do however, want laws, and order. Legally enforceable contracts, private property, free movements of capital, and freedom from personal, property, financial crimes, etc. They dont see a role for govt to regulate what you decide to eat. "Right to work" is just a law that doesnt allow MAKING you pay union dues, being a member. These States are far more attractive to corps, jobs move there.

  • Santorum is like that hitchiker in Something About Mary. Instead of 9-minute abs, he comes up with 8-minute abs and thinks it's going to be a hit. Santorum is doing the same thing with Herman Cain's 9-9-9 plan. 0-0-0, yeah right. That's what middle-class voters want to hear.

  • A young turd u forgot ron paul

  • Im not quite a paulite but how can you even mention people like newt gingrich who are so much lower on the polls and then ignore Ron Pauls candidacy completely. It just sounds from this video like these people are all the serious candidates when they not all are and that he is not even a candidate.

  • I want the GOP candidates to keep up like their doing and so should Obama. Because if I were him I'd look at these jacka**'s and 2 words and 2 words only would come to mind... JOB SECURITY!!!!

  • Rick Santorum: a perfect example of our failing math education. However, let's take his idea and modify it slightly. Instead of 0% corporate tax rate, let's have a minimum of 0% corporate tax rate, so GE and others can't have a negative tax rate and get money from the government.

  • The ONLY reason Rick is running is to get some coverage... after he lost his last election he was all but invisible. Perfect platform to secure a gig later on with a well paying lobbying group or think tank.

Having said that, if he had a TV show I'd watch the shit out of it. His insanity expresses itself in the most amazing way.

  • All I can hope now is that the FBI is putting dangerous liberals on their watch list, and keeping track of these radicals. Your anti-American sentiments are well documented liberals, and I hope that federal law enforcment will deal with the members of the OWS accordingly. Im betting they will..

  • Well, we all know the OWS is a piece of smelly shit, as the American people (FINALLY) are against the OWS and realize that the message of the OWS is kaos, down with free enterprize, down with capitalism. Too many OWS have spoken. We also see the violence. So the OWS had their 15 minutes of fame, and can move along now. Your nowhere NEAR the teaparty, or the raw power of the teaparty, as you will see AGAIN next November.

  • The tax code is a fucking joke. 10,000 pages that nobody has read, and even the head of the IRS uses a tax lawyer...to do HIS TAXES! We need a flat tax.

  • @calimar28

Flat tax is bullshit and affects the poorest the most.

How is taxing the people with the least amount of wealth the same as the ones with most the same amount, remotely even intelligent?

    Retard.

  • @mecher3k Those who dont pay federal income tax, should not be allowed to vote for federal officials, including the president. They have no skin in the game and as such, shouldnt be allowed to vote for those who will make desicions about the people who do pay.

    * Disagree?

  • @calimar28 Except those who dont pay federal income tax pay all the other taxes in there day today living,

You are complaining that the poor are soo poor they cant aford to pay more in taxes, What kind of a monster are you?

Maybewe should force companies to pay above the federal income tax margin, then could pay it? (although its a stupid plan its just as logical and stupid as yours)

  • @gihaification I'm no monster at all. I am saying that if you have no skin in the game, you shouldnt play. Paying state taxes or sales taxes pays for STATE politicians and services...not federal politicians and services. If someone doesnt pay into the federal system, they shouldnt be allowed to decide who runs the federal govt. Only an idiot would disagree with that!

  • @calimar28 Except they do have skin in the game, They pay other taxes EG property tax, sales tax, Gas tax... They are just dont pay Income tax because they earn soo little, their % of their pay spent on taxes is greater then someone with more money as they earn so little the other taxes hit them harder.

Stop peddling Right wing lies, Or do you disagree with the 15th Amendment to Constitution? Only an idiot would be against his own constitution so the rich have more power!

  • @gihaification Psst...hey asshole?? State tax pays for state roads, and property tax pays for local public schools. Only gas tax is federal...and pays for interstate highways. So, the 47% that pay no federal income tax, should be allowed to vote for the federal highway commissinor...and thats it! None of the gas tax goes to pay congress or the president.

We will get into complete power, and those who dont pay will lose their vote, I can tell you that. Last years IRS statment required to vote.

  • @calimar28 Just read your profile, I can see you obviously have some deep seeded hatred, the level of blame you place on non-whites and ignorance for their situation is outstanding. I was right before you are a monster.

You’re against the right to vote, you it for the rich only. If the poor were paid more then they would be paying income taxes (so tax the poor but ignore the rich)

They didn’t include them originally because then they would have little to no money and no social mobility THINK!

  • @gihaification I dont care if the poor pay only 1% federal tax, THAT IS SOMETHING. At least they would have some kind of skin in the game, and would force them to vote responsable. But you dont want that. You want the have-nots, to vote anyone in who will steal it all from the haves, dont you? Marxism 101. Karl Marx is your mentor.

  • @calimar28 I love how Im the Marxist, Yet I'm the one who's actually adhering to the Constitution.

Fifteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

The Rich do not pay there fair share. Stop blaming the poor.

Side note - Why do you hate America? You commienazifascistlatinoeurolovinghippyscum!

  • @gihaification That amendment was changed...it used to be land owners only that could vote.

I wish the rich would all leave, and leave you liberals borrowing in the mudd for acorns, like the animals you are. Mabye all the rich and middle class can leave you liberals here, then come back in 5 years and you will all be gone by then.

  • @calimar28 Going Galt? Except as soon as the rich left the poor would take over their rolls and society would keep on truckin'

Another flawed ideology, If you spent less time sprouting racist statements and spent more time reading the policies that would fix the problems of the past, you could live a happier life.

  • @gihaification If you would stop whining about what others have, you would have a better life. What a bunch of pussies you liberals are...pussies I said. "Oh mommy, jimmy has a brand new red bike, I WANT ONE NOW!"

Get the fuck out of here, you pussies.

  • I have noticed you liberals are physical wimps as well. You couldnt lift a box of Wheaties.

  • @calimar28 I've noticed you conservatives constantly stereotype every single group but yours.

  • @coopmuch56 Yes, stereotyping saves us time. We are in a hurry, have to go work.

  • @luvcheney1 Moron. No wonder you're a right winger, to qualify you must have less than a 100 IQ. Congrats.

  • @calimar28 stereotypes do nothing but show your own ignorance.

  • @Da1UHideFrom stereotypes offer a release of anger and hate...that I have of the liberal establishment and their god damn Robin Hood mentality. Take from those who have, and hand it out to the have-nots. BULLSHIT! I can tell you that aint goning to fly ANYMORE in America. We tried it your way for 100 years. Now step aside...

  • @calimar28 And promptly watch your country collapse.

  • @calimar28 Why are most conservative political pundits like Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh lard asses? I suppose you think fat means strong? Of course - you think no taxes means stable economy and good country. Let me ask you this - with no government - who will keep those damn mexicans out?

  • @metalmike83 Govt spending is now 40% of GDP and they still cant keep Mexicans out. Of course, the Mexicans come here for jobs, which are available because our stupid govt pays Americans to say home on the sofa.

  • @gihaification Corporations and Capital have been leaving for a long, long time. It is called "outsourcing". CEO`s dont carry signs, burn cars, shit in parks. They just move operations OUT of the US. Open your eyes! BTW, the poor are NOT taking over anything at all! They are just screaming, "where is mine?"

  • @luvcheney1 I assume your either joking or are a joke,

Who the fk thinks cheney was ever looking out of anyone as a leader. The man is the epitome of selling ones soul to satan for money and power.

You do realise theres no jobs for these people to take, theres nothing for them to do cept starve or fight for better laws/regs.

Then again you probably think we should kill the poor and make tasty soup out of them!

  • @gihaification You havent made a specif point with a fact about Cheney. But, I`ll wait. As for no jobs, 11.5 million illegals have jobs. With far fewer skills than the Americans have cant find one. Who will work, when you get paid to stay home? Want to reduce the unemployment rate? Stop paying people not to work.

  • @luvcheney1 Yer cause when there wasnt a social security net times were soo great, No they were terrible. I can see your a troll no one would be stupid enough to say something like that without looking back to the times when there wasnt a SSN and think "we need to go back to these times"

No point on dick cheney? Wow, How about we flip this, Can you name something Dick did that wasnt a huge disaster? Perhaps some idea he had that wasnt a huge give away to his war portfolio?

    You are a joke...

  • @gihaification Calculate investing at 6% (less than 40 yr S&P return THROUGH crisis!) SS and Medicare taxes of a POOR $30K annual worker for a 40 yr working lifetime, he would have $700,000 at 65. Thats $3000/mo at only 5%, and would NEVER even touch the principal. Instead, he gets $1200. mo and crap ins for 12 yrs until dead. Imagine instead a working couple, at $40K each? Almost $2 million? You brag about this ripoff? Cheney return from Halliburton while VP donated to charity. $7 million.

  • @luvcheney1 Hang on, You think if the SSN was invested in the stock market it would of been ok during the ecom crysis of the bush years? dont give me that crap.

Keep on trolling your doing great!

Halliburton, Your going to use there name and not mention any of the crimes they commited to earn that money? they did way more damage then that 7mil could possibly fix.

The guy is a monster and your a obvious troll, no one can be stupid enough to think he is a good guy/

  • @gihaification Bush term 8 yrs. Retirement investing, in SS, over your working life, age 25-65 typically, or 40 yrs. Looking back over previous 40 yrs, INCLUDING the crash, return of the S&P500, dividend plus stock appreciation is over 6%. That is just a "fact". Recall, Dow crashed to $7000, but is around $11,700 again anyway. After a lifetime of investing, we withdraw slowly, over 65 to death, planning on 85 or so. Nobody spends 100% day of retiring. Halliburton used by US Gov, Clinton, Obama

  • @luvcheney1 Reality Denial at 100%

  • @gihaification Poor do pay sales taxes, gas taxes, property taxes (even if they rent, through their landlord). But, the rich pay taxes on a Mercedes, while you pay on an 1988 Hyundai. The rich pay taxes on the Malibu Beach home, while you pay on your studio in the projects. The rich pay sales taxes on the Brooks Bros suits, while you buy T-shirts at WalMart. I`m not knocking WalMart, or Hyundais, or the projects, I`m just pointing out the obvious.

  • @calimar28

Um, yes of course I fucking disagree.

I'm not a fucking Nazi like you are apparently.

  • @mecher3k Of course you disagree, and why shouldnt you? Your a pathetic little worm that has no problem with people who pay no federal taxes, deciding who runs the federal goverment! That way, those who pay zero, can vote in people who promise to make the 53% who pay, pay 100% of their money to the goverment! Why not? What would stop those who dont pay from doing that?

    *grow the fuck up

  • @calimar28

"Of course you disagree, and why shouldnt you?"

That's right, why should someone who supports freedom even think taking away people's ability to vote just because they don't pay federal income taxes, isn't anything but resembling the Nazis?

"that has no problem with people who pay no federal taxes"

Happens when people don't have enough money to begin with.

"deciding who runs the federal goverment!"

I believe in freedom for all, you do not. Thanks for making that clear.

  • @mecher3k ""That's right, why should someone who supports freedom even think taking away people's ability to vote just because they don't pay federal income taxes""

BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT PAYING FOR IT!!!!!!!!! Yes, they can have freedom. But voting should be only for those who pay god damn it. How should people who dont pay, be able to decide how much the taxpayer pays? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?? YOU A MARXIST?

  • @calimar28

So you have to pay to have the ability to vote is what you're saying?

It's hilarious how much of anti-freedom piece of shit you are. Also conveniently ignore every single other tax they pay.

  • @mecher3k Anti Freedom? Somebody has to pay for the freedom, asshole! By your standards, of nobody has to pay to vote, then why not let Mexican citizens vote too? Oh wait, your party already does that.

  • @calimar28

I'm going to let this continue so I get to see just how retarded you will get.

"of nobody has to pay to vote"

Which is what any true modern and developed country does. You're a citizen that is consider an adult, you can vote.

No matter your race, gender, etc.

Sieg Heil, a saying you probably say a lot.

  • @mecher3k Whatever. Your side has already lost it all, you just dont know it yet. Not only wil the GOP control everything next year, but they will be conservatives, instead of the RINO's we used to have. The tax code is history, bank on it.

  • @calimar28

Lol, yea that is why poll after poll says the country is progressive.

  • @mecher3k Right. Real progressive election results last november. A record set for more seats taken in the house, since the 1930's by republicans. Not to mention Wieners seat, the gov of NJ, VA, I can go on. You liberals got the shit kicked out of you for 2 years now in elections, next year will be no different. Your way sucks, and Americans know it.

  • @calimar28 who has been elected who you claim will make the top 53% of earners pay 100% of their income in taxes?

  • @mecher3k Yes, lets reward those who do nothing, and penalize those that do.

  • @luvcheney1

    Another strawman from another retard.

  • blah blah blah do you ever talk about anything other than how much you think the republicans suck?

  • These Republicans are just strait out fucking crazy.

  • Did they seriously put Rick Santorum in the description but not Ron Paul? I really hope this is an accident. I thought theyoungturks was above the media blackout of Ron Paul.

  • The 'miracle' of Reaganomics?! These people have officially lost their damn minds!

  • @Lyiad did they ever have them?

  • we already have a big deficit.dont cut taxes, increase taxes

  • "They just hate us for our freedom"

Open your eyes Cons, those aren't tears of anger/frustration but rather laughter you're seeing

  • I just saw someone take a a Santorum on the internet. It was REALLY disgusting!!!

  • Honestly, I don't think the tax rates would matter much at all. It's a short term fix. It would cause more inflation. If you raise taxes on corporations, they will just hire/pay less, and/or raise prices on services/products to equalize their profits.

  • Can I say it? ANARCHISTS! NO GOVERNMENT! Bachmann? Anarchist! Santorum? Anarchist! Gingrich? Anarchist! Perry? Anarchist! Cain? Anarchist! YOU SIRS (and Lady) are INSANE!

  • *RIP Mimi2591*

*Died of political stupidity and loss of hope for the future*

  • 000 = The intelligence of Republicans.

  • Same stupid crap they've been advocating for a hundred years!!! Silly bunch of buttheads!

  • I would vote for Ron Paul

  • cenk shoulda done the doc holiday voice at the end...

  • @theawesomemanman Ron Paul is only good for raising legitimate complaints about the federal reserve. When it comes to proposing solutions, he's MUCH worse than the Fed. It's like a caveman wanting to base an economy around the amount of money a person invests in their high school diploma, when in our society we basically get that for free.

  • It's not republican 101. It's republican 000. ;-)

  • Who is the only republican Cenk didn't mention?

    RON PAUL

lower taxes for the MIDDLE CLASS by CUTTING REAL WASTE including war on drugs, war on terror, nation building, corporate welfare, dept. of Ed., TSA, etc.

    no more bailouts

    no more corporate subsidies

restoration of personal liberty & freedom

He is the real deal people. Now or never. RON PAUL 2012

  • The fix is in. The GOP is taking a dive this election cycle.

  • It's obvious the republicans are trying to lose. They exist only to make Obama look like a "centrist".

  • He did leave out one guy: Ron Paul

Which probably means that the only hope for the GOP to win the 2012 Presidential Election is nominating Ron Paul.

  • This is the funniest election season yet! Idiocracy wasn't just a fucking movie, it was a prophecy and were watching it come true!

  • god damn michelle bockman is such a fucking bitch

  • Government Helps you.

    1. Education since the 1960's look at how good it is now, and cheap.

    2. Started helping in Medical care in 1960's great now, and so cheap.

    3. Helped with welfare in 1960's look at them now, much better off.

    4. Helped with "woman's working rights" in the 1960's, look now almost all woman work now and families are much better off.

    5. Helped with income tax for first time in 1913 for the rich only

    6. Social Security "trust fund"

    7. Homeland Security, to protect us........

  • Damn the GOP are trying to top each other by going farther and farther right so much so that they will make Hitler look like a leftist, communist scumbag.

  • Fucking christ michele, just shut the fuck up.. I can't fucking stand your fucking face

  • Just look around, their is a long history of the government helping the people. They ended the great depression, it only took them 15 years and a world war, but they did, with the guidance of President Roosevelt almost the whole time.

The government enacted the income tax in 1913 to tax those rich evil greedy people and only them, so they could help the middle class and poor. Then they set up the S.S. "trust fund" and help the old retired people.

    The government love you.

    Obama !

  • @putittogether Fuck Obama.. He's a corporate slave, sucks Geithner's dick and licks Jamie Dimon's ass.. Fucking Obama fanboys, just admit it, what you have in the White House is Black Bush III

  • @oprichniki12 Your just an evil greedy republican, probably racist too.

  • @putittogether Yes, you're right on. Anyone who criticizes the Leader is an ''evil greedy republican and probably a racist''.. You're no fucking different than a republican partisan you cultist hack.. Explain to me how Obama's different than Bush: he extended tax cuts for the rich, more wars on more countries, offered cuts to social security and medicare.. Yet you dumbfucks still love him.. Shithead Obama lovers..

  • @oprichniki12 Obama is a moron true, but he's still better than anything the Republicans have to offer. Obama just bends over backwards to stop his own parties policies offending the Republicans, whereas the Republicans come out with batshit crazy policies like this.

  • @MrHedgehog380 No, I totally agree with what you just said, what pisses me off is these dipshits talking about Obama as if he's some progressive savior and the second coming of john maynard keynes.. I mean how badly indoctrinated are those fucks, no better than the republicans that's for sure, all he's done so far was getting on his knees and blowing tim geithner..

  • Cenk is right these GOP guys are clowns. We need to raise taxes on the greedy rich people, and give the government more money and power. We should trust our dear leaders in government to help us. We just need to support them and trust the government.

The government has help the black people, helped with education, helped with S.S., helped with health care. Everywhere you look, where the government has helped, it has worked out great.

    Obama forever!

  • Well, he proposes 0-0-0 for manufacturing, not for banksters. And not even for any other service providers. Manufacturers only. (at least, that's what he said in the video) That makes alot of sense. Manufacturing sector drove US growth after the WW2 and allowed it to dominate the world, this is what's been driving China's growth for the last 3 decades. This is what brought up such countries like germany, japan and south korea

And, yeah, it's strange how they try to avoid talking about ron paul.

  • The GOP has already abolished the tax code for millionaires and corporations.

Their teams of lawyers have figured out how to pay ZERO taxes. GE paid ZERO, along with thousands of others.

The GOP candidates look like another episode of dumb and dumber. What a bunch of jokes.

Obama, will win in a landslide with this group of misfits.

    The GOP has tanked!

  • abolish tax code retarded much?

  • 18% of GDP is Draconian? lol are you serious? That's about what we take in as far as revenues go. It's draconian to spend what you take in? The government spending 1/5th of the economy is not enough?

  • Also even the most greedy cooperation will realise that for the long-term health of their company 0% cooperate tax would be devastating. Simply because the country would eventually cease to function and then their company (and most comapnies) would be fucked just like everyone else. Right?

  • @jamesgowdy No, because the people advocating these 000 policies are people who take the money home and damn the company. How do you think CEOs and executives of failed banks are currently living large(r) off bailouts?

  • It's probably a good thing.

Even the most hard core tea party nutters must realise something is s little fishy with the 0-0-0 thing surely.

Maybe it'll open up their eyes a little bit, especially if no one calls him out on it despite it being clearly obvious it's utterly ridiculous.

  • no representation without taxation....

  • BUSTED

  • And now we have Cenk jumping on the "Draconian" bandwagon! More buzzwords that sound threatening, but are completely misused. A draconian reform is when new laws are so tough that people are punished heavily for the smallest crimes. "Dracionian cuts" is an oxymoron.

  • This just shows us, again, the GOP doesn't know the first thing about economics.

  • I heard Ron Paul's tax plan was, besides having 0% taxation, was to take all the social security and healthcare funding, divide it amongst the fifty biggest corporations, and personally give each CEO a handjob.

  • @niriop

you know ron paul actually came out with a plan that cuts a trillion dollars and not a single dollar is cut from SS or healthcare. he also keeps the current tax plan.

  • @GodAthie Fucking bullshit; liquidating social security assets is at the top of his to-do list.

  • @niriop

Stop making crazy assumptions based on nothing, and actually listen to or read what ron paul says. He would like to see a phasing out of SS. By that he means the ability to opt-out if a person wants to.

besides he would just be the president, and once again if you knew what you were talking about you would know that ron paul's real priority wants to shrink the power of the presidency and end the wars asap not cut welfare.

  • @GodAthie "He would like to see a phasing out of SS." Erm, he's compared it to slavery and called it unconstitutional and a Ponzi scheme; that's tantamount to saying he wants to get rid of it pretty fucking immediately. You're a fucking idiot. Your divine ruler can never be wrong; its like how Jesus always says what the individual Christian wants to hear. Go back to your dreamland...HERPY DERPY!!!

  • @niriop

Ron Paul's SS position would be the same as his FED position. you can't just end it right away because that would cause a lot of pain, so we need to phase it out or give people another option. He doesn't want to end SS immediately.

Actually read what ron paul says... he says over and over again that he would cut foreign spending, and corporate welfare before he would touch entitlements. He came out with a budget that balances in 4 years without touching any entitlements

  • @niriop

and yes ron paul can be wrong. he said don't ask dont' tell was a decent policy. i say it was a horrible policy. He says life begins in the womb. I say i don't give a damn. Also i a very hard core liberal when it comes to some regulations... at the local and state level.

  • @GodAthie

    "not cut welfare. "

I love RonTards, they are the most clueless right winger possible.

  • @mecher3k

ron paul would not cut welfare as a priority. Get the context right, and stop trolling

  • And then Newt Gingrich comes out with negative numbers. -1,-1,-1!

  • @CHAOSoriginal

"But that would be giving money, that would be socialism!"

  • Are these people insane?!?!??!!?

  • @Tounushi

    You meant that rhetorically, right?

  • @Tounushi no, just greedy. They have calculated that they wil be dead by the time all the problems they cause would reach them.

  • It's a bidding war for the company money. The less they are willing to tax corporations, the more money they think they'll get. Sad part is that it's not even insidious. I could at least appreciate some guile, but the politicians and the corporations think we're so dumb that we'll give them anything just to not have to deal with figuring out how to get rid of their stranglehold. Think they're kinda right. It's been like this for a while.

  • whats gonna happen ?

the country will collapse...and those rich bastards will go somewhere else. and we will have to deal with mess for decades...whats whats gonna happen.

  • Do you really think that Corporate taxes hit these "multinational corporations" you speak of? They just claim their profits everywhere else and refuse to repatriate them. The Corporate Tax Rate only hits the remaining American based corporations, and it is too high and is driving them out fast. The Blue Dogs would allow the money to be repatriated at a rate of only 5%, and that is the way to go. Go Blue Dogs!

  • The question is if these mentally challenged Republican clowns are capable of thinking further than 20 minutes into the future.

    .

How will they pay for another set of wars, which inevitably will come if any of these idiots get to power?

Hand even more leverage to the Chinese Communist Party?

  • Even Cenk has left out the obvious, Ron Paul. What is wrong with having sensible people running our nation?Must we be subject to cronies for ever?Pauls plan eliminates the IRS entirely. He brings troops home, and strengthens our defense while reducing the cost of our military. We will essentially be a stronger nation and will continue to actually care for those that have fallen through the cracks these cronies have created. He will reduce foreign aid to 0%. The money will come home.Peace.

  • For Americans it might be a horror show, but by Hanuman the Monkey-God, it's amusing as a clown circus to me.

    .

And that will continue to entertain me just as much as any boog comedy show up until the minute the America people, in their flawed electroal system and based on false perceptions such as Saddam was a major player in 9/11, elects one of these clowns as their leader.

  • I'm surprised with how progressive this news program is that they didn't report the other side of the field, such as Ron Paul's or Gary Johnson's Economic plans. Those others just sound silly. Theirs actually makes sense.

  • It's this simple:

Flat Tax=Massive Tax Increase for the Middle Class.

    It's indeed a horror show.

  • It should NOT need to be explained why a flat tax would be disastrous. If you need it explained to you, you're too goddamned stupid to be allowed in society; go live in a cave.

  • I'm waiting for the GOP candidates to top each other to the point that they propose a law that anyone making under $60k a year has to perform any sex act demanded of them on command for anyone making over a million at any given time.

They keep playing the "I'm more radical than you" game and the people who don't like Obama follow them farther and farther out, dutifully. The center can't seem to tell any better so they vote GOP to an extent. And the Ds are ACTUALLY in the middle. There's no Left.

  • @dEdGrimley I would actually say the Ds are right wing extremists at this point. I don't know what to call the Rs anymore.

  • @dEdGrimley - Precisely. That's a very astute analysis of what's going on with the American electorate. I would add a few other groups: The fourth is liberals, progressives and people to the left who do not like how Obama is basically Republican-lite (and sometimes straight-up Republican on some issues) but feel compelled to vote for him and people like him because they feel there is no other choice; fifth is people further to the left who view the parties as incapable of bringing real change...

  • @dEdGrimley - con't...and the last group would be the large group of tuned-out, apathetic Americans who don't know what's going on and don't care or do know what's going on but don't intend to do anything about it because they've given up or are too lazy to try. The last group is the most irritating group because they're the people who generally go out and vote GOP when they do vote because they're uninformed and easily swayed by demagogues who appeal to emotion rather than intellect.

  • @A86

I'll just respond on this one - I was referring to politicians, whereas you seem to be referring to the public, but I agree with your points.

  • Anyone remember Omni consumer products from the RoboCop movies? How they ran EVERYTHING. That's actually what we are becoming....

Many state governments are already outsourcing state programs like food stamps and toll roads like Indiana. It won't be long before they do the same with fire departments and police.

  • Tax Economic Rent, not labour & business.

Here is an interesting article by Michael Hudson, "Simon Patten on Public Infrastructure and Economic Rent Capture"

  • I don't understand how Americans are supposed to keep up they're ridiculous military spending if there is no revenue coming in....

  • @DevilDiablo546

    by borrowing money

  • "000" sounds like a typical Republican IQ score.

  • @JEFF9K I met a super neo-con once. He seemed dumb as a rock- constantly complained about liberals. His performance on IQ tests was pretty ridiculously high though.

IQ is irrelevant when you're an unethical sell-out in favor of a dog-eat-dog world where everyone lies constantly.

  • @katsumorymoto

We use it as a joke, but in reality IQ is irrelevant when it comes to propaganda. Some people actually say that smarter people are even EASIER to brainwash than their dumb counterparts

  • hold on.. if companies that make goods in the US pay 0% tax..

and companies can repatriate at 0% tax...

why the hell would they make anything in the US anymore? There is no incentive even with a 0% tax rate.

  • Bachmann says she's a "pro-growther," yet her face prevents my boner from growing.

    typical Republican hypocrisy .

  • How much does everyone bet if Santorum gets elected, suddenly every company will calculate complying with anything costs at last one hundred million dollars and is thus exempt from regulation.

  • Cain's Plan makes no sense. He says he will tax corporations at 9% of gross profit less purchases from other businesses, but purchases are already subtracted from a business' revenue in order to arrive at gross profit! So what does he mean? Why Wong anyone ask these questions?!

  • The solution is simple but no one will like it.

    1. cut spending drastically, this means no wars and very few social services. Cut the military budget by 70%

    2. Increase the tax for the rich. By a lot.

These 2 things would put America back on track but the problem is that no one will ever agree to this.

  • If you Americans wanted to talk about seceding to Canada, I'm sure we'd be up for negotiations. =)

Love, your friendly neighbours to the north. <3
