been meaning to add that to my favorites list. I was there that day. It was pretty wild. Macacao was a big name back in the mid 90s. He was a veteran black belt at his very strongest at the time he faced Nick here (who was a purple belt at the time). Sucks that I couldn't get this tournament on video... a stupid pedophile was the host of this tournament (in Half Moon Bay, CA) and he got locked up before the video was edited and sold.

@angryfudo and now strikeforce is owned by the ufc, which means soon nick will be working for dana again. dana and nick can't really hate each other (nate diaz works for dana). they just both have strong yet opposite positions: nick wants to get paid (as he deserves to be), but dana wants to stay in business. his strategy is to pay fighters moderate salaries, and expect them to win (or at least give it everything they have) or get cut. dana promotes the ufc brand, not the fighters.
