@InATrance4Life The white smoke is from the clutch... Take a closer look at the guy driving it after.... He's holding his left foot on the clutch... ;)
@ahyahyahy I agree cause if he were to race like that in the USA in say SCCA or NASA RACES they would automatically take him out the race for driving reckless on the road course, but you know them Chinese people be driving like maniacs, shit they created drifting enough said lol
Do you really know anything about cars or driving.
1 - These drivers are amazing. They can drive at crazy speeds down togue tracks keeping total control over the cars.
2 - Dragging the clutch !!! wtf how would this make you go faster. If the gearbox is not connected to the engine 100% you will actually go slower. Where does this magic extra power come from hahaha.Smoke is probs down to to running really rich as you can see it coming out of the exhaust.
See, this is where you fail. Yes, the drivers are amazing, but you aren't getting the big picture of what they are doing. Yes, Kazama is purposely slipping the clutch. For one, the CRX's exhaust isn't in the middle of the car. The smoke is coming from the UNDERBODY and streaming out from the middle of the rear. That is coming from the burning/constant slipping of the clutch. Try this on your car, considering you even have a car/know how to drive a manual, and you will see...
...and smell exactly what Kreugerkidd is talking about. Let me explain this better to you as to why it was being done. If you have the clutch slightly engaged [slipping a bit] while doing corners, especially in a FF car, you will get a much SMOOTHER power transfer. Pay attention to his left foot. You'll see him riding the clutch slightly especially during corners. Listen to the engine/exhaust note, it sounds a lot smoother and picks up speed faster then when the owner was driving.
So next time you try to down someone, try learning something first. Kazama had good intentions on getting a better lap time, but it's not cool that he was slipping the guy's clutch so much.
the reason he went so fast on the last run is bc he was dragging the clutch the whole time, check out the smoke on the final run, he doesn't pick his foot up off the clutch the whole race. thats not cool. burned up dudes clutch WTF. lol,
The reason it has such a big wing, is for balance. Like someone said earlier about not having one and understeer/oversteer being a consequence of that. On the street, there's really no need for such a big wing, unless you're DD is also your track car and setup as one. Or if you like running canyons, otherwise on the street there's no need. And you'll be hated on by mostly everyone because of it.
@supernam27 Well most people don't really bother asking for specs or looking unde the hood on most cars before calling it rice. They just look at the shell and check if it has a bodykit and a spoiler then yell out "RICER!" even though the driver/owner of the car might have done that for better performance and not just to make it look like the next crash car in the Fast and Furious series
not really it needs the down force for the rear due to there being virtually no weight on the rear fwd= most ofthe weight in the front. with out the wing snap oversteer or understeer may become a problem
It's Kazama, he's too pro to damage a strangers car.
If he was riding the clutch the laptime would be slower from the loss of driving torque. All clutch pedals are adjusted with a small amount of free play so that lightly resting your foot won't disengage the clutch. Over a long period of time this resting will wear out clutch springs faster, but this is a short race.
looks like the second driver was riding the clutch, having it partially engaged for quicker shifts and faster revs......that was all that white smoke....... whatta fook, burning up the clutch, ay.
ive watched this clip so many times i still dont underdstand he hqas that big ass gt wing already why not add diffuser and carnarsds and wind resistance body kit for track or street use and a looker too
i know man i am driving ap1 now so regret .. i traded it with my evo 8 .. i feel like driving my old miata .. sigh... anyway what i meant is lightweight class rwd like crx and rwd with over 200 hp vtech engine s2000 weights about 1260 kg
the evo is a really cool car. My cousin has a evo 6, with a turbo upgrade. it has about 340 HP. It's so cool to drive that car, and to fell the power of it. xD
good score ~ it must be cool to own a evo 6 its best version of evos it has good turbo and good weight and balance is that a rs version ? man upgrade some vidoeo on that car if u have a chance it cost a new car price to get a second hand evo 6 in usa , one time i asked an evo 6 owner for a trade with my evo 8 he said no wayy he said it costs him 30k to get this car even my evo 8 price still higher than his anyway i change car every 2 years its a nice car man after this car i might build a e30
I'm from Portugal, so here, to have a car with more than 2000cc engine, it's really expensive. An evo 7, normal, here costs 35,000 Euros. It's about 45,000 Dollars. And if we bring from the states, per example, to legalize it , it costs 5000 dollars. --'
The tommi makkinen version. It's beautiful. I'm only 16, therefore, i still don't a license, but i've already drove my brother eg6. he swapped his old engine for a b18c. It has 210 NA Hp. It's really cool to drive it. a e30 is a nice car too. with me m3 engine, that baby rocks.
oh reallly i though usa is the most expensive place to buy a evo except for dealer legal evo 8 9 10 mr , and 45k usd o get an evo thats robbery u can custom build one from that price dude that makes u a rich man than anyway keep this car dont sell it man i regret tradeing my evo i miss it everyday lol and hey eg6 is good car too with 210 hp huh i m guessing b18c5 type r then its very good engine rev it to 10000 rpm lol
My uncle works at le legalization departement of the country, so i can bring cars from other countrys and legalize them for nothing. xD
The eg6 revs to 9500 rpm. it's so sick dude . earing that engine revving. Our next dream is to have a skyline GT-R, but it's right hand car, and it's expensive, so it will have to wait. xD.
i used to have one with b18c1 180 1.8 vtech only i traded it with a s13 turbo its a fun car to drive too lightweight easy to drive but for civic my fav still crx lol
well it all depends what kind of tunning basic dyno in california bay area they cost around 200 $ 150 $ usd an hour , engine swap cost about 400 to 600 $ in labor u getting gtr huh the newest one gt 35 thats one sick car too man i love rb26dett engine it rocks dude
we're hoping to bring an GT-R R32. BEAUTIFUL. Already with a turbo upgrade, better suspension, etc. It has 450 HP. Not very much, but enough for the portuguese roads. Here, there is only one GT-R in the country. THE COUNTRY. xD
it only costs 600 dollars to swap an engine ? my brother and i saved money for months to swap the engine. it costed 2000 dollars.--'
can anyone answer why he was milling the clutch that bad?!
DrewChisholm 2 months ago
That CRX is burning mad coolant or oil!!!! & needs a bigger rear sway bar & loosing up that front end to eliminate that all understeer.

shit he did what had to do lol

Lol, by burning the clutch he gained 2 tenths.
I wonder if that's because of the smooth power transition or from the weight loss from the burning up clutch :P
He could just try to controll his right foot.... but seeing as he's a d1 champ, I'll just call "stock clutch" on this one.
