@CondemnedPhury I agreed with your statement that until proven guilty of intent of using anabolic steroids as an advantage, he is only guilty of failing a post fight drug test. Vitor Belfort once failed a similar drug test when his doctor prescribed medications for him that contained steroids; even though the appeal board reduced his sentence, they still upheld their decision that a fighter must be responsible for knowing what substances he is taking. Chael's appeal defense would be interesting.

You're only supposed to take it to get UP to normal, not way out. Whey fucking protein is considered a PED in some places.

I would bet the majority of top level fighters "cheat." The difference is that Sonnen got caught, unlike the rest of the fighters. It's not cheating in sports when everyone else is doing it. You have to do PHDs sooner or later or you will not make it.

@cumwitmeah Yeah, but couldn't you say that he was looking for them the first time around too? Prior to the fight, Chael himself said that he had no interest whatsoever of standing with Silva. It was very obvious that Chael's gameplan was to take Silva down and beat on him. IMO, Silva only has so-so takedown defense. A demoralized and dehydrated Travis Lutter took him down a couple times. Silva has superb striking and is dangerous off his back as well, but he's not known for stuffing takedowns.
