Phantasy Star 4 is the main reason I got this compilation, love it. I have not played an RPG this good for a long time.

I love Golden axe but it plays bad on this collection the girls scream like guys and they scream twice. Once when they die and then they scream again after they have been dead for a few seconds. Most of the games play well though.

i'm afraid most of these games are a case of playing 'through rose tinted glasses'. Your memories of how good these games where is far greater than the re-visit. Yes great in 1990 but thats where most of them belong. Good for a nostalgia trip tho

Dont agree if you have a taste for retro games (and they cetainly being published again -contra rebith, Sonic 4) and considering people have been getting this for £4 (even at £10)its still a a great package (with at least 9 games that stil fun as hell to play) and more than just a quick 'nostalgia trip.

No and Road Rash is not on this compilation either. There is newer Collection that has come out for the PS3/360 maybe that has those games but this does not.

guys you can pick this up from amazon direct for £12 brand new. its worth it just for sonic 1 and sonic 2.. game-station is good but ive found there pre-owned games to be on the steep side there old games are pretty mch the same price as the new ones. just letting u guys know u can pick this up from amazon brand new cheaper than you can game and gamestation.

looks like great value i want to get this. Its a huge disappointment that not 1 of the streets of rage games are on it though, and i think i would like to have seen toejam and earl 1 also, although that was quite boring 1 player maybe.
