this song makes me think about my friend noah...he says he wants to grow to go into the military. we may be edgy, but i couldnt bear to loose him.its for a good cause, but i just care about him all too much. if i had to see him die, i would loose my mind. im note in love with him, but i truly care about him. it brings me to tears thinking about him and his future... i wish the fighting would stop all my veterans are badly injured.i dont want that to happen to my noah. stop war. no more pain...
This Song really is amazing my grand father just passed away and was looking for a song that really fits him and this one really does he is a Vietnam vet and served his time in the Army and this song is exactly what I needed and will need to help me!! Thank You!! And for all the men and women who are currently fighting for our freedom!! My hubby especialy for fighting keeping us Safe here at home!!!

My Grandad was a Command Sergent Major in Vietnam. His wife's name was Gene. They met in England when he enlisted for the U.S. Army in France. She passed away from Cancer 11 years ago. It's so hard to listen to this song, think of both of their sacrifices. His to his country, and her's to him, and raising my dad and his two brothers. So powerful. This song means so much to me. Always have to be grateful to those who gave everything for us to live free.

When I first heard this song I teared up because my boyfriend is deployed for a year in Afghanistan. This really hits home.
