i disagree. it had the most repetitive layout, the worst multiplayer maps, didn't have live, and had the least depth to the storyline. i think it should be remade though... for the nintendo 3ds lol.

People on here seem too have 2 main complaints on these videos for Halo Wars. 1. Not in-depth strategy wise and 2. They were let down by it. I mean seriously, had you looked at this game before it was released? They didnt say it would be indepth they said that it was dumbed down gamepley wise so they could make console crontrols work for it. And if you let yourself get over-hyped, its ur fault. You shouldnt get too excited for a game, or you will be disappointed.

Graphics, The screen , another realease which was not needed , crappy story infact no story except steal some diamond , Not many units , The ground is mostly black , The men are tiny compared to the tanks , Overpowered units. And a unit that is used constantly online to swarm rush.

yea dont think ill be getting halo wars any time soon. sure it looks like a good RTS game but... thats exactly it. it looks like any other RTS game, where you make huge mobs of people and send them around in big mindless mobs. and being the fps person i am that camera that leaves you detached from the action... would make me want to gouge my eyes out. im just not a fan of the genre... thought id share my thoughts.

Another reason to own this game , it's close to an RTS game that works perfectly on a console (unlike every C&C/EA RTS game on the console which suck horribly)

Its an easy game to play but with a little unbalanced factors here and there mainly with the prophet and female scientist faction.

But a true RTS is a PC one

Halo was meant to be a Real Time Stratagy ,but then they changed it to a 3rd person shooter, Then they changed it to a 1st person shooter Ensemble studios read about it going to be a RTS and started the project

Really weak criticism of the camera. Could you zoom in and out in AoE 1/2? Could you zoom in and out in Cossacks? You don't need to see the the whole map all of the time, that would be called daunting, especially for the new RTS players that have come over from FPS.

the camera is really all that bad, my only problem with the game is moving around the map. Its hard to just move the camera to exactly where the base or units are, I sometimes find myself in a corner of the map looking at nothing, but thats why they put in the left control panel button, so it all balances out.
