Actually, I was pointing out the inconsistencies of Cantor's statements. "85% of Virginians voting over concerns of the economy. Who's economy? It's Barrack Obama's economy." Therefore, he is blaming Obama over the economy and I was pointing out what Matthews said of "inheriting the economy." Cantor keeps repeating the phrase, "rejection of Barrack Obama's policies." I don't see it. I may be wrong, but i believe Republicans won with only 49% of the vote. I wouldn't consider that an epic victory.

One does not need a degree in political science to realize that Cantor is very clearly playing politics. I guess that's why he's called a politician! As a Virginian, I am embarrassed that Eric Cantor is my congressman, and also that the Democratic Party of Virginia is so ineffective in cultivating good candidates, enlisting young people into the party, and actually representing progressive view points.

Just look up the Virginia election results at the local level and see just how many Republican seats were won where the Democrats failed to even field a candidate. Virginia deserves better.
