  • apex of the matthews band..deep juju

  • I miss you love, I hurt, and drink without you, and I know I will never love again so much as I loved you, god I wish it could all be different. I know it was meant to be, so do you.

  • Boy, that violin is beautiful.

  • thank you Dave for being so wonderful. This song gets me every time.

  • Why are the ratings disabled? It must be because this deserves 10 stars and only five were available...

  • @Hornadayfan Agreed

  • @Hornadayfan

    thats EXACTLY why.

  • beautiful and at the same time supersad. they are just amazin at writin lyrics and putting great music to it. awesome

  • Wow...I'm so in love for this song...

of course I like the other songs, but in this time of my life I adore Grace is Gone..

    Take Care

  • This is their only song that makes me cry. I love it.

  • sister for me

  • Roi is heavenly.

  • was heavenly... :(

  • I love this song. It demonstrates each of band's fabulous talents. Especially, Leroi.

  • i could listen to leroi's solo all day. so beautiful...

  • love this song

  • Love it!!!!! excuse me plz

  • Does anybody know what is the name of this album? I've been looking for it but I cannot find it, any kind of help is appreciated

  • Grace Is Gone is from the album Busted Stuff

  • get the Lillywhite Sessions. They're the songs in their original form, before being re-recorded on Busted Stuff. You can torrent them(not illegal as they aren't copyrighted). Anyway that album will blow you away, miles better than Busted Stuff.

  • @vbManu Busted Stuff...

  • What kind of guitar is Dave playing? She's beautiful

  • likely a taylor 914 ce

  • taylor 914 series

  • I love this song. I'm sure we've all had nights like this. So well written

  • I remember a show in 2000 at RFK, he played this and Bartender, said it would be on the next album. Amazing.

  • brettmccafferty, i think that's an excellent set list, i'm praying he plays #27 at Alpine this year.

  • saw that at the gorge... oh man

  • A great performance all around, but that sax solo took my breath away. Simply phenomenal.

  • Yeah i love when he jams outt. he gets mad funky.. im not a big fan of albums.. not just his.. im more of a Live person... they can play diffrently and tweak it up.. its wonderful

  • i like 95% of his songs live more there are a few i like on album like two step it just sounds rly bad ass

  • Really??? You think the album Two Step beats out the live versions??? thats there most common live song, and the have all but perfected that song. its absolutely amazing live.

  • just amazing

  • I did not know this was written about his stepfather. Then gives a whole new feeling to this song! Thanks!

  • great song, but a pretty bad set list for that show.

  • too depressing for a pep rally? lol

  • written about his step father...such an amazing song

  • It was dedicated to his father, not written about him.

  • I think it was to his sister...but not sure! =/

    sad thing...but lovely song indeed!

  • es muy loco esto de Leroy, estara en nuestros corazones por siempre

  • LeRoi is gone...but certainly not forgotten

  • R.I.P most definitely. If you don't love this then i can probably say you have no idea what great music is.

  • I love these guys more than anything.

  • love this band

  • they jam so hard

  • I remember the first time i saw DMB, i fell in love with the sax from day one... he will be missed

  • I miss Leroi already. :(

  • Same here ;-)

But must admit I've missed him from the day he got injured, which meant that I didn't get to see him live - Had my VERY first show(s) (6of 'em) this summer.

  • he butchered his solo on this tune tho. no disrespect intended.

  • how so?? it sounds fine. even if its not the same as the studio, thats artistic liberty when playin live. he didn't butcher anything

  • True man. Many bands and musicians change solos or lengthen parts of songs when they play live just to change it up.

  • My wife and I actually get into an argument over this: I actually enjoy Dave & DMB more live than in studio. Nothing against his recorded work, still stands among the greats, but I enjoy his liberty when just letting the jam hit him live.

  • NOTHING beats DMB live. NOTHING.

  • yea we all know that.

  • I see exactly what you mean man.

    They're recorded work is amazing,

but NOTHING compares to them live.

  • i hate foree wheelers and air

    plaines

  • I LOVE HIM

  • beautiful

  • my anme is grace

  • RIP LeRoi :(

  • he bones the kyrics at about 1:30...still one of my fav DMB songs..ho-down jam is insane.

  • When I saw this video it spoke my hart and I just wanted to post it on my page!

  • seems like an amazing show

  • absolutely love it!

  • Amazing!

I went to this concert, it was awesome.
