This is the single most best advice out there. I'm sure you're going to Cornell this fall, or already attending. =D

I got accepted to Cornell University early decision in December 08. I think one thing Cornell really looks for are students who are passionate what they plan to pursue, and if they are willing to work hard to attain that "Ivy League education".
They determine this information from the supplement essay they make you write. Also, don't let your SAT scores stop you from applying.
both my parents and big sister work at CU....actually..i have to work their tomarrow setting up for comencment. I plan to attend majoring in Animal Science(right by my daddys office>the vet school) and become a zoologist......Cornell is Great....
Cornell is one of the best colleges in my opinion. You can read about it online, you can go on wikipedia and read about it and also type in google "TOP universities in the US" and clik on the second option and it gives you the college rankings. SO YH cornell is also respected
no....its comparable to brown or penn(which is nothing to sneeze at)...name wise..but from what i hear, it has the toughest academic environments out of all the ivy's. much respect to those who make it out of cornell alive.
It depends Cornell has the top vet programs in the country. But sorry I dont think Cornell tops Havard when it comes to Law. Or Columbia when it comes to Med. Cornell is also great in computers.
If I really had the choice to pick the Univ I wanted to attend, I would go to Stanford too. But either Cornell or Standford wouldn't accept a student like me.

Admission Tip: Apply early decision - Cornell is the easiest Ivy to get into. Don't wait until the other Ivy applicants use it as their safety school

I grew up in Ithaca and I think this vid is nice, but it doesn't really do Cornell justice. It is more beautiful in person.

Do you get as much gravitas saying you went to Cornell as saying you went to Columbia or Yale?
