India is a law abiding country, it is against the culture of the country, and the laws of the land to do suicide bombings etc
I do think that economy takes a back seat to security, especially when it comes to Pakistan /Jihadis in general.
You may be right .. Pakistan may be threatening a cut off of US supply routes into Afghanistan, or that may be the implied effects in the event that India attacks.
