  • I cant believe the amount of people who dont realise its a tool so that you can make your own bra's.... like a dress makers mannequin.

obviously not many people make their own clothing.

This is a brilliant idea & allows you to make a bra to fit you exactly, instead of a shop bought one that that will never fit like a custom bra.

  • Hi, I was wondering if you had come across any good suppliers of solid bra cups, or ways of making these - such as the ones used in Belly dance bra costuming?

  • @MrLmfaorofllmao he make bra cups someone has to.

  • This is very interesting Could one use this method to pour a foam insert cup like the ones you buy to sandwich in between the fabric? Thanks for sharing

  • @angelsandfaes

Possibly you could create a foam insert over the clay form once it has been constructed. But you can also use a pattern from a bra sloper to sew a foam cup out of Tricot Bonded foam.

  • @niahann The breast is soft tissue that can be sculpted into different shapes--think push-up bras. When you are creating patterns for a different shape, this technique allows you to do it off the body.

  • where do you get that big ol brick of clay

  • @MultiMasterjake

I have a list of resources online at

    deofsf.com/Resources/Bramaking.html#Modeling-Clay

  • @DonMcCunn can you buy in stores cuz i make thigs out of clay alot and love playing iwth it

  • is that to use as a model to make clothings?

  • Brilliant! Thank you for sharing!

  • @Sophysoph Actually... it's just a form... so you don't wear it... you just use it to make another one... like a dress form!

  • This is a VERY GOOD TIP to the people who make Epic Costumes...

For exemple: Imagine that Chest Protector in Xena's Costume... That's, usually is made of Papier Mache...

Without a modeling bra cup, that's really hard to do...

So this video are REALLY useful...

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Is this for bra-makers?

  • I'm assuming this is similar to a dress form, but how do you use this?
