  • 05:45 Motherfuckers :P

  • :P Eat it call of duty.

  • what are your pc specs

  • @ThePresD mobo: msi P67A-GD65

    cpu: i7 2600k at 4.5ghz

    ram: 4gb of g.skill 1600mhz

gpu: gtx 460 OCed to 470 specs.

  • @eclipse245 did you run this on ur pc?if so what settings. it looks like there is no lag

  • @ThePresD I run BF3 with all settings on High and 4xAA. I haven't tried Ultra yet.

  • This is without a doubt the second dumbest thing I've seen in 'modern warfare'-style video games. The first would be the nuke in MW2 blowing the ISS apart even though it's in space and like over a thousand miles away.

Everything about this is downright intellectually offensive if you know anything at all about any of this.

  • @Frostiken Well it's intellectually offensive that you say the ISS is over a thousand miles away :P It's like 200 miles into orbit. As for the nuke blowing it up, yea impossible. But I don't see anything too absurd in BF3.

  • I'm still not sure about this game but as a youtube video.. fuck me that was entertaining... thanks.

  • @jasonked1 Same for me. I was not impressed with BF2, especially not the SP campaign. Doubt it will be more realistic now, besides the graphics. It's still all prescripted stuff. CoD,BF, it's all arcade with realistic graphics.

  • @ArmAMajor BF2 was awesome :P And had no campaign. But yup, it's arcade obviously.

  • @eclipse245 I played SP campaign with BF bad company a week ago. Chookachoo along a prescripted road, felt like doing a MoH game from the year 2000.

I think I will stick with ArmA, even with low fps :P

  • good, but not revolutionary

    I liked BF2 more though (not BC2, actual BF2)

  • @st3v0011 I loved the flight dynamics in BF2, agreed. But overall gameplay, I prefer BF3.

  • Owie... Was hoping for a bit more, like no radar lock from IR missiles (the dogfight), and a little more... well... a little more slow-paced attacking and proper AGM-88s. The start-up sequence on the hangar deck was so promising for a good compromise between realism and gameyness.

  • @Inkompetent Yea man. Don't forget though. It's Battlefield, not DCS or Lockon or Falcon 4.0 :P

Multiplayer dogfights are much better, since you're actually in control of the aircraft though.

  • @eclipse245 I know. But it still would be hot with some more proper energy management and precautionary use of flares rather than reactionary from a radar lock that shouldn't be there to start with. It looked *quite* nice. But I do think it doesn't seem like they've taken it as far as they could, and still have the flight model and avionics accepted by ordinary gamers.

  • @Inkompetent well I've played Battlefield since 1942. And it was the same way in Battlefield 2 in regards to the flares, so I didn't expect anything different :P

  • I can't watch this >_< It would spoil the game for me too much :( I won't be getting BF3 (PS3) until this weekend if even then :*(

  • Amazing! FSX and Bf3 vids... what more could I ask for!

  • @morehate4uall It does :)

  • OMFG Those GFX!!!!
