  • ...You should read a little more or maybe travel to see the true whit your own eyes... =)

In ten years President Chavez has raised Venezuelans life conditions, he also has established important relations whit other big counties and i don´t agree whit him in everything he talks about, but his action make a lot of sense... =)

  • you not brazilian, you are filiming "from brazil" second you don't know what u talking about punkass andrew. you are talking based on what you see on your television, based on what north american goverment propaganda wants you to believe, pick up a book or know what goes on in latin american countries for the least, so you won't sound like a bigger idiot....

  • u not brazilian, you are filming "from brazil" second you don't know what u talking about, the problem with us north americans is that we let the media easily fool us, you don't know whats going on punkass andrew, you talking based on what you see on your television, pick up a book so you won't sound like an idiot

  • That is funny. Many of the negative things you said about Chavez trying to start World War 3, and other comments, are IRONICALLY the same things, THE REST OF THE WORLD ARE SAYING ABOUT The US GOVERNMENT AND BUSH. GET A CLUE!!

  • Clarifying that I am not admiring of the clown of Chavez: the great "SIN" of Chavez it is not to have been a dictator sponsored by Washington, that is the true, and that is what mortifies Washington; Chavez was not a graduate student of the School of Assassins from Panama; But, not problem, "the masters of the democracy and the freedom" placed the things in their place, and Venezuela will continue being a colony of the U.S.A... that calls you "DEMOCRACY", according to Washington.

  • Very Well Said! All of you stupid fucking leftists need to wake up and to realize that to support Chevez is to be opposed to freedome of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, Term limits for our democraticly elected leaders and Democracy itself. Chavez is a war monger, a megalomaniac, and obviously a dictator that would rather silence dissent with a police state than defeat it in the realm of Ideas and debate. He makes Bush (including all of his failures) look like Saint.

  • From Brazil? hahaha. Don't mess with Brazil stupid crackhead! All Brazilians love Chavez!

  • well said

  • Your stance reminds me of Dick Cheney who was regarded as a man "without doubts" It seems you are also without doubts in your convictions. Well, I certainly hope the best for you...

  • I'm sure you would agree too that if America really wants to set the example in the world, we need to do be riguorsly honest with ourselves and find that which hinders our creative potential. We need to admit our mistakes and vow never to repeat them.

  • when the bandits are battering the door of your house, it is no time for introspection.

  • Chavez experimentation with socialism may or may not work. I say give him a chance and if his people are happy with it, great. we might learn from it.

  • Socialism does not work, period. Beyond that, what Hugo Chavez is doing is setting up for himself a dictatorship using socialism as a guise. There is nothing new in this--Lenin, Stalin, Kim Jong-Il and Mao Zedong all did the same thing. (Not to mention Hitler, who rose to power by usurping the National Socialist Party).

  • nope, we are not happy

  • Hi comingstobrazil,

With all due respect,I don't see Chavez as a threat. I'm sure you would agree that Capitalism and Socialism have their respective faults. Chavez wants to redefine socialism the same way China has with communism.

  • Making Chavez an enemy is a mistake. He believes that socialism is better than capitalism and he is entitled to that. Period. And if you did some homework, you would discover that the US not without fault-think vietman- so you should not be judging Chavez as you are now. I would also add that you have NO IDEA of the depth, breath, and width of what is at stake in this global economy and to believe that Bush and his cronies are noble and interested in making this world a better one, think again.

  • 1. Chavez' "believes" in whatever is useful to keep himself in power. He claims to believe in democracy, and yet he is systematically killing democracy in his own country. Do not try to paint him as a victim, he is not.

  • 2. Of course I know that the US is not without fault. Just because the US made mistakes in Vietnam does not mean they should now stand aside and say "ok, whatever you guys want to do is fine by us." Using your logic, the US should not have entered WWII because of its past treatment of the Indians.

  • 3. Once again, while Bush and Co. are not perfect, one does not need a masters degree to notice that the biggest threats to the globe today are Chavez, Ahmedinejhad, and Kim Jong-Il.

  • Read your history, qwerty.

  • You're telling ppl to wake up? how ironic - let me know when you're done sucking off AIPAC and Bush

  • Why thank you, Mr. Chairman

  • astute political commentary El Commandante
