While the bone graft is going on, I have to wear a flipper. I'm afraid people will notice. Do the fake flipper teeth look natural? I'm sick to my stomach.
Hello Dr. Camm. I am getting two teeth (7 and 8) extracted in 3 weeks because I had a root canal that failed and an infection that set in. I was told they couldn't be saved. My hope was that I could get immediate dental implants with temporary crowns, but when I had my consultation today with my oral surgeon, he told me I had lost too much bone. He said I'd have to have a bone graft to determine if I'll even be a candidate for implants. How successful are bone grafts in general? He didn't say.
