Is there a way to get this song on single? and is there a slower cover version of it? This song and its lyrics make me think of my dad. He died two days before my 1st bday from cancer, i never knew him, was born and remained an only child. And his wedding ring and the letter he left for me to read when i was older went missing (someone took them). This song is what i like to think he wanted to say to me

One of my all-time favorite songs ever (any artist, any language considered), but the more-polished studio version is superior to this one live rendition IMHO.

In any case I thought it would have made a superb closing moment for the Neverland album and rage to think the band added a pointless "hidden song" after it.

Talk about ruining a great build up!

God Bless,i absolutely adore this song,my father passed away march 2007,i regret having ot speaking to him for atleast 15 years plus,but we made up 3 months before his passing away,everytime i hear this song i cannot help but shed a tear....Peace to you and all.

One of my favourite songs from the Neverland album (others being Afterglow & Heaven Knows).

Although The Mission were massive in the 1980's/early 1990's ive always believed Wayne Hussey has never been given the credit he deserves for being the best songwriter/performer & guitarist theres ever been in British alternative music.

Best band in the world,especially live.
