I was born in Manhattan but lived in Staten Island for a good majority of my childhood until I moved to Dutchess county. This video totally makes Staten Island look more beautiful than it actually is. Back when I grew up on Port Richmond Ave, the towns were nice and the people were quite friendly. Now it's been over run by Mexicans and the place is completely trashed. It saddens and destroys me to see my home town being trashed and destroyed.

If your watching this video, and are thinking of visiting while your on the ferry i suggest you had back to where you came from because this video is VERY misleading. I was born there and moved away fifteen years ago I miss being "HOME" but when I go on Google maps the place looks like a ghetto. Clean up your act SI get rid of the weeds growing in the cracks in the side walk and have signs on your building that match the beautiful buildings from the eighteen hundreds.

well theres a lot of things to do in staten island. theres a mall, and every year 2-3 times a carnival with rides come. they have rides like the zipper. and plus it is about an hour drive depending where you live in staten island to six flags great adventure. theres also many parks and it is safe in a lot of areas.

i'm from staten island, and i can say alot of the island they' re showing is great, but i live in the bx now and when i went back to my old hood it was trashed out! i don't know what happend because even the hood areas were nice and clean, and anyone from the hood will know what i'm talking about! now it's really crowed and trashed out! hope they fix it up soon! staten island baby forever!!!!!!
