Fable 2 was shit compared to the first game. The story was literally shit, but the gameplay was 3 times more awesome.

I wish in this game your kids acctually get older. I mean, wouldn't it be cool to have you kid become like 15 or so and he can come with you to fight? I thought that would be really cool. Also I wish you had more interaction with your wife/husband. They just say something to you and walk away. It doesn't feel fun to have a family to me. But I am extreamly excited about the combat and other cool features like your blade.

Designing your own weapons sounds so awesome, and also the whole thing where your character develops on how you use them not on what ability you decide to upgrade.

Yeah it does sound cool, but a lot of things peter said about fable 2 sounded cool and then just ended up a joke. You have to be carefull with every word he says. I find it funny how in the developer diaries there will be a short interview with peter, and he will be going on about some feature and exaggerating every bit of it and then they cut to an interview with one of the designers and its back to reality.

"200 more weapons" sounds like overkill considering in F2 there were less than 10 types of weapons with only around 30 variations.... How about a happy medium???

Put in over 100 more weapons; and not just filler bull crap....... man.

Read a page or ten from Blizzard in regards to the weapons available in Diablo2, and what you can do to customize them.

yeah its unfortunate that peter is one of the few people developing WRPG's. Its a genre that hasnt been touched much for some reason. I guess developers are scared of failing like that "two worlds" game. I think they should try to nail the basics before getting into all this weird shit.

The thing i dont like about peter is it seems hes all about prophit. He spends more time hype'ing up his games than he does developing them. He seems to focused on making the games "accessible" so he his games appeal to a larger market.

dude yeah, for Fable 2 he said you'd be able to "swing from cieling lights" and "use daggers and over 100 diffrent types of weapons." we better be able to do EVERYTHING on this game that he's saying we can do. besides that..this video made me shake :o i want this freakin' game

Well thats not really what fable is about. I think it would be cool if we could choose what we look like from a couple presets or some slight tweeking but nothing major. The idea of morphing is that you change the way you look depending on your actions. Its a really hard thing to do but if they cant get it right this time im gonna lose hope in lionhead.
