is salicylic acid better than benzoyl peroxide? I have Burt's Bees acne treatment that has one or two percent, I can't remember, Salicylic acid. I hate acne.
@acneerasingsecrets what if it's combined with a lot of natural stuff. Plus, salicylic acid is taken from Willow Bark, or at least the one I'm using is.
@ToddIngram1000 it's still not ideal, and I personally don't think that salicyclic acid is from natural sources and even if it were it's too acidic to be used directly on the skin w/o the rest of the plant if that make's sense.
@Khozmo26 I like Dr Bronners, but honestly I think it's too drying of a soap for the face for most people... and this video can only be so long! lol... I link to some good soaps in the Acne Erasing Secrets store on the AES store in the facebook page.
do cause and can make breakouts worse, and have been found out to cause non-skin related complications to the body, like you said. so besides that, if i were you i would re-research benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid and correct those videos. good luck
@aprilx07x Google "Benzoyl peroxide cancer" and you will find some scientific studies that were done on benzoyl peroxide. It caused cancer in rats (or mice, I forget) which is why I don't recommend it for skincare. It does kill bacteria but so do plenty of other things that don't have the toxic side effects. Our bodies aren't deficient in BP and topical application get's right into the bloodstream so for these reasons I don't recommend it.
(continued) but for the most part they are not bad for the skin. also, it is not realy possible for pores to 'shrink' ; they can contract and some ingredients can keep them contracted to decrease the amount of oil and bacteria that gets in the pores that causes breakouts; but then the pores eventually will expand once you take a hot shower. therefore, you should do better research and not misinform people. on the other hand, i do agree with you about parabens not being good for the skin - they
@aprilx07x They are both chemicals, they get into your blood stream & circulation which is not healthy for you... and it doesn't balance out the body at all to keep the skin balanced and clear... it's just a temporary topical fix that wont last. It does kill bacteria, but it doesn't stop the body from producing more bad bacteria but the right diet does! I have talked abt hot water expanding, cold water contracting etc... Look up "benzoyl peroxide cancer" in google to see the
@aprilx07x scientific studies on it! I'm not right or wrong, it's just what i've read... so please don't tell me i'm wrong when you haven't read what I have read.
hi, i just want to ask why you say in some of your videos that benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid are 'horrible' for your skin? where did you get your info to validate this? i am an esthetician (skin care expert/professional) and have been for 5 years and i have never heard or come across these 2 ingredients as being horrible for the skin. they are reputable and good ingreds. to take care of ance/breakouts. although, they may not be good for sensitive skin, as they can irritate this skin type;
Ay david wat do you think about Alba products do yu think with cleanser and all of their producs are good for you? hope to hear back from you? you should do a review on the Alba products that would be awesome! :)
@princesscabello1 Thanks for the comment, I've never used their products but they seem ok... seem to be free of a lot of junk yet they do salycyclic acid in one of them I see... thanks for the idea :)
@starstruck731996 nope! it's pretty much the same thing as mineral oil.... which is a petroleum by-product! watch the video I made on mineral oil... it is not natural and I wouldn't recommend it!
Okay so i want to order all of them. If i did can i use them all together? If so, how many times a day and what times of day? Oh and which do i use first, second, third etc........HELP :)
@MrMysticFallVampires You don't need all of them, what would be best would be to use fiberzon & envirozon (watch the magic acne pills video) then to use one facial cleanser and toner/moisturizer after that. I recommend the just natural skincare soap and moisturizer that I talk about here... links are in the "show more" section to the moisturizer and soap.
Hello there once again, how interesting Really, I have the exact same aztec facial clay that i've been using for quite a bit now. It is really efficient, but it just seems like I can't control my acne, I've been using fiber to cleanse my colon but i will keep getting a pimple or white head 1 per week atleast.. I cant say I have a healthy diet, although I stay away from sugar..Apart from that, what would you recommend me?? I see you cure your acne in 1 week.. Thanks David!!
@enestaLIFE the clay is great, the apple cider vinegar is great... Also you have to make sure to have a healthy nutritious diet as well as drinking more water too. I also recommend that you try the secret acne cleanse out as well... (You can get this free on my fan page) Hope this helps!
@freddy131994 I got my acne when I was about 12 or so and had it till like 17/18... I tried conventional acne treatments and products for years and saw no results but when I started focusing on my diet, used natural skin care and took some supplements my skin really cleared up within a week.
@acneerasingsecrets wow! within a week!? i started to get my acne when i was 16 with minor pimples. but now i am seventeen with cysts. man it sucks. but i wanted to ask you. if you ever heard of the website acnedied.com i discovered it a week ago?
by the way i like that flannel shirt you got there
yes~ i saw that already. was not sure if you used that as a moisturizer or not. do you use that for nite time also? thanks a lot. watched and love all your vids. thumbs up x2
Hi david, im just wandering.. what are your thoughts on the Origins skin care, since i have moderate acne and im sick of using harsh products on my skin and i want to try a natural more light skin care routine! thanks
@cmgarm check and see if it has unnatural sounding ingredients thats the best initial test some might be better than others but most are bad. especially watch out for SLS, benzoyl and salicylic acid
David. I want to buy everything because for some reason I trust you and I believe you know what your talking about! You seem like a smart dude. Well ill tell you how it goes:) -Ever G
@keonda4ever Thanks, I appreciate it... Everything is listed in the description so you can find what I talk about there... Otherwise you may not be getting what i'm talking about so use those links. I've had several ppl get the same type of product but not the actual one i've recommended and used and sometimes it just doesn't work the same.
@acneerasingsecrets Yea I got about everything the most expensive thing was the sangre de drago. I didnt but the mud or the lotion like you said I can start off with this. I just have an additional question what goes first the cleanse or the vinegar? then after the vinegar I do the mask like every day or every other day? I know how to use the products just not in which order? and how often :P
@keonda4ever apple cider vinegar, not regular vinegar... Everyone is different so I recommend just starting by trying out each of the products first and then from there using what you feel your skin needs. You may respond to some products better then others so you can use those more often etc... Just feel your skin out and try them first then go from there.
@acneerasingsecrets im looking to get alot of these products but do you know if there is a store that possibly sells some of these items so i wouldnt have 2 wait 3-4 days or whatever
@ROKINROD23 Honestly I don't think so... most of the stuff I really recommend is only online. You'll have to just get it online... You may be able to get a few things offline at your local health food store but that's about it.
@ROKINROD23 I recommend you check out the "how to get rid of acne scars - acne scar removal with amazon herbs" video that I made... the graviola and sangre de drago herbal liquids are the best thing i've used to help my skin heal from scars and that video talks about it and links to it in the description.
@ROKINROD23 i think the graviola that he recommended in the e book might be the best personally i used scar creams and saw like no change to be honest,
@keonda4ever You'll never be 100% sure of anything in life, you have to take risks... That's how you know. Start with 1 or 2 things and once you see results you can get more! I only tried one thing at a time. There are a few companies that you can spend 30-50 bucks at just start with a smaller order and then see how that goes. You have to take risks to get results.
Omg, if your not familiar with vitacost.com then you so have to check it out. They offer health food, supplements, health and beauty, vitamins, etc. hopw you like it :)
@mrios723 I'm checking it out now, honestly... I wouldn't really recommend anything on this site. I don't think they really have any products that are high quality.
@benkaspick Apple cider vinegar is probably the best toner I know about... It works really well but you have to wash it off after because it has a distinct smell to it.
The American Institute Of Advanced Medicine can help! They have over 25 years experience and over 90% success rate for a varity for skin disorders including cystic acne check out theaiam.com their protocols really work!!
Their medication is FDA approved with no side effects! ** Not a scam!
Hey I love your videos! I picked alot and have blemishes and I been using bleaching creams but they seem not to work. What would you use to help with this issue?
@nrstubbs2000 I would use a few different herb extracts (liquids) Check out the "how to get rid of acne scars" video that I made... I would use sangre de drago, and graviola liquid extract... That video explains sangre de drago and has a link to the website for it. Thanks for the question!
@SunKissedBeauty09 Your welcome, you want to rinse it off... I would spray it on and let it dry then let it sit for about 5 minutes then rinse it off. It's kind of a toner but smells appley and vinegary! so I would leave it on for 15 mins or so then rinse off. Or like I do sometimes is put it on a few minutes before I go in the shower and then in the shower the smell washes off while i'm scrubbin! thanks for the question :)
Can you get any of these products at any stores??(whole foods?) i just dont care for ordering over the internet but posibly might look into it.I like products that are easy, accessible to get at stores in my area!GREAT VID,keep them coming and Im going to look into that apple cider viegar vid ! take care and have a wonderful week!!
@phatfuc09 I don't think that you can because I haven't seen any of these in stores... The only one's I have seen are the aztec clay and apple cider vinegar at my local health food store but otherwise the companies are online so that's where you'll have to get them if you want them. Thanks so much for the positive support and feedback! More videos to come! Thanks for all the likes, favorites, shares etc :)
Little question : if you use apple cider vinegar by Bragg, how many times should I use it every day? Right now, I drink 2 teaspoons in a glass of water 3 times a day (morning - afternoon - late evening).
Thanks for the vid :D, you're a life saver :)
And I discovered a lot about my parents, I didn't know my mother loves mars bars and my father had tuberculoses when he was 16 :P, I'm way healthier than they are, and I love to teach them stuff and laugh with what they eat :D
@MadameMcintosh What you are doing right now is pretty good... Honestly i've only taken it internally a few times so i would have to do further research..... but as far as externally goes i just use it once a day! thanks for the question!
Thanks for the informative post. I like the Sibu oil (soap - not as much) and use it as a moisturizer and either alternate or combine it with tamanu oil. Used sparingly, the latter is very moisturizing, healing and its anti-bacterial properties help to prevent acne. Caveat: tamanu is extracted from a nut so only use if one is not allergic to nuts.
@brook2feet3 Burt's bees products are pretty good, I honestly like amazon herb products and just natural skin care more though and have seen better results with those... I do like burts bees overall though and have burts bee's chapstick.
oh also, i bought a moisturizer at whole foods the other day from Aubrey organics.. its called green tea & ginkgo.. i know you recommended their shampoos so i figured it would be ok.. but i see cetyl alcohol is the third ingredient... that cant be good, right?
@ADIctedToBeauty Yeah, cetyl alcohol isn't that great.... That brand is better than some other brands but it's not 100% natural... 100% natural is hard to come by for sure...
first of all, thank you SO much for doing this!! so helpful! i already own the aztec clay & the sibu stuff, but i find that soap rly drying, and the oil doesnt seem to heal my acne. will definitely check out the mud & the just natural stuff. i also bought sangre de drago from a company called amazon therapeutics, but i cant use it cuz it smells absoulutely horrid and leaves this gross brown residue on my skin, so im thinking i got a bad batch, is the company you recommended any different? thx:)
@ADIctedToBeauty Your welcome, thanks so much for appreciating all the time I put in! it means a lot :) This company is honestly one of the highest health quality product companies that I have come across. Their herbs are organic and straight from the amazon rainforest and have used them for years and they are highly recommended! It's one of those companies who's products i'm addicted too and truly grateful for!
@acneerasingsecrets thanks for always answering too! so i'll definitely check out the amazon rainforest, i see their products are a little bit pricey but it sounds worth it, so i'll add it to the list of stuff i need to buy when i'm no longer broke:) and thanks for clarifying about the alcohol, i figured it wasnt too great to be putting a moisturizer with alcohol on your face, i'm definitely gonna have to try the just natural day cream you recommended instead!
I don't use a lot of those, as it's often hard to get them, but the last products I really wanna get is fiberzon and envirozon. I'm stuck with cetaphil and benzoyl peroxide in my closet though, I first thought of giving them away, but they are horrible products :P
I had to pay 40 euros taxes for the acne.org treatment, I don't even use it, but if I meet the owner of the website, I'll give him a slap :)
Fiberzon & envirozon are great for internal cleansing... You aren't stuck with anything in your closet if you throw it out! That's what I did when I found out what these products had in them! LOL your funny, yeah the whole BP acne treatment isn't even worth attention b/c it's BP!
is salicylic acid better than benzoyl peroxide? I have Burt's Bees acne treatment that has one or two percent, I can't remember, Salicylic acid. I hate acne.

first of all, thank you SO much for doing this!! so helpful! i already own the aztec clay & the sibu stuff, but i find that soap rly drying, and the oil doesnt seem to heal my acne. will definitely check out the mud & the just natural stuff. i also bought sangre de drago from a company called amazon therapeutics, but i cant use it cuz it smells absoulutely horrid and leaves this gross brown residue on my skin, so im thinking i got a bad batch, is the company you recommended any different?

I'm really interested in the dead sea mud too.

@MadameMcintosh the links are in the description :)
Fiberzon & envirozon are great for internal cleansing... You aren't stuck with anything in your closet if you throw it out! That's what I did when I found out what these products had in them! LOL your funny, yeah the whole BP acne treatment isn't even worth attention b/c it's BP!
