Good list. I agree with all your choices, but unless I misunderstood and thought you were saying all themes were "beautiful or rare" and not "beautiful & rare", I reckon the Pirates of the Caribbean, American Beauty, Lion King and Titanic themes are pretty much famous.

Fuck yeah! Although I told myself as I typed "best rare soundtracks" into the Youtube search bar that I was doing so in hopes of coming across new material I'd not yet encountered, the real reason was that none of the videos from my search for "best soundtracks" included "The Land Before Time". I'm soooo glad that topped this list, as it's truely a fantastic score, well deserving of its placement here. Thanks for the video! ("American Beauty "also a fantastic choice!)

@BodaciousBurnley Thanks! The Land Before Time is also one of the few scores, who has tracks that are all over 6 minutes. It lets you get in the mood. I think it's James Horner at his best.

It's funny, because I loved the movie as a kid and I spend ten years trying to remember how the music was like. You should try to watch the movie one time. It's a heartbreaking story about love, friendship and survival (where Steven Spielberg has collaborated with). The music then really falls into place.
