More hippie logic. Kids have been getting worse and worse ever since school ended corporal punishment. Pain retains. I will be sending my kids to private school specifically so the will receive corporal punishment. Spanking is not abuse. I love watching you looser hippies at the market as your children throw tantrums and curse at you. My kids would never dream of acting that way they know what they would get..........smack.
People like us have people like you face the law for not:
~putting their children in seatbelts
~having them wear helmets
~protecting them from cigarettes and alcohol purchases
And soon for assault and battery when they beat them, which is considered a Human Rights violation in every Democratic nation except the USA and Somalia.
Thank God for people like us who seek to protect children whose CAREGIVERS could care less about what science says is harmful for them.
o.k proove it! most parents feel that there is a difference, however that imaginary line is always drawn in a different place inside the mind of each parent. at what point does it become abuse? One hit ,two hitts,10,50,176 hits what is acceptable in your eyes. and isnt that just in relationship to how hard they are being hit? THe law states it ok within reason. but everyone reasons differently. tell me do you trust every parent to come to the same conclusions as you and not take it to far?
i guess it is better for the government to tell me how to raise my children, because some people take it too far? As I stated before, I will raise my child how I see fit, no matter what you, or anyone else thinks about it. end of story.
tell me ,if you were the government that is suppose to protect everyone. and enforce saftey for all . how would you govern this issue? Do you think that the governments stance that it is ok within reason is to vague in that everyone can say there reasoning is different? tell me what would you do to insure child abuse doesnt go on past the line that you set in your head.how would you word the law?
i know, lets put cameras in every house. every single house. that way we will know that no child is being beaten. do you want to live in a country like that? maybe if we make the penalties harsher for child abuse, instead of making more government oppression for everyone.
im not for the government taking away anyones right. I am for the government defending the right of all americans to a safe existance from violence. you are taking the same stand point that people use to take to justify the beating of there wives. If more peole had common sence and didnt do rediculously ignorant things like hit there children , the government would not need to intervein. people like you is wat is forcing the government to mess in peoples lives!
what the hell are you talking about? I don't beat my wife or my kid. I never would. Every right that is taken away is taken away for a 'good' reason. Instead of making harsher penalties, the judicial system is soft on the criminals, so the government intrudes more in the lives of the law abiding citizens. There are already laws against child abuse, but it still happens. we don't need more laws, we need harsher penalties.
lol, that is like saying if you drink a beer, you are an alcoholic. I am seriously done here. you think spanking is beating, fine. don't really care. see ya . have a good one. etc.
@guidav123 I beat them..? So basically, by applying disciplinary action action against my child who of which performed a wrongful action, with a spanking, that I am beating him? That I am tossing him wall to wall, kicking him and choking him? No. That would be beating a child. I'm simply spanking my child for a wrongful action so that he may learn these type of actions are unacceptable. Or- You could just tell them not to do it again and give them a Xbox like you would your modern child.
@guidav123 Yeah- Well.. I bet your child can't drive a car. My child can drive a car and often drives me place to place, we just invested in a booster seat so he can view ofter the dash. He has made me so proud. *Wipes tear from eyes* So proud.
"Texas law shields violent teachers punishes victims"
When you are done reading that, please come back and see me.
I don't beat my wife:
Why not, if it's okay, acording to you, to butt beat a child, it should be perfectly fine to do it to your wife when she doesn't get dinner on the table on time or refuses to have sex with you. On top of that, why can't I hit my dog, but it's okay to hit a kid?
Violence in the world today starts with parents who continue the horrible abuse they received as children. Can't we start a school class on parenting in every single school all over the world to teach kids how to discipline their kids properly later on when they have kids or demand every new parent to attend a parenting seminar before their first child is born -- there is 9 months for them to learn the right way to raise a child after all.

If you don't like the laws where you live, you
and your arrogant litle brat can move your little asses to Sweden or Israel and get out of my country that exists because guys like me were trained to "hit" people with bullets in the US Army. Pain is part of life. The only way to avoid pain is to die. If you're going to be fucking spoiled little crybaby
I agree it should be banned in schools, but I also think that parents should have the right to discipline as they see fit as long as the child has no bruises or or anything. I believe in spanking, it works, I do not however believe in child abuse and there is a difference and most of the so called experts don't even HAVE CHILDREN. Dr. Spock being the prime example.
HI, Angel. As the parent of 2 sons, I never hit my kids. Most parents have found better non-physical ways to discipline. Have you ever thought about the long term issues with hitting your kids? And..you are so wrong that it WORKS. IT DOES NOT. You may get immediate compliance in stopping a behavior, but think about it..have you spanked again and again for the same/similar behavior? Most parents have. Discipline: TO TEACH, why do you think hitting a helpless child is necessary?
when black people were being opressed they spoke up and changed there situation. when women were going through similiar things they had a voice that changed there situation. Who will be the childrens voice sence nobody will listen to them or threaten to hit them more for speaking out. there are those of us that are not scared to be the voice for the children.
You are right that this needs to stop nationwide. Please join me in having it ended in public schools, then we can move on. Everyone, including prisoners and animals are protected from another human being putting their hands on them...except children. Children are the only citizens lacking civil rights.
Please see my youtube: Nationwide Campaign to Ban CP, and let me know if you are available to help this cause for protecting children.
@paulaflowe ...teach your child some manners and the little shit won't get beat. It is not cowardly to spank a child. Think about the actions of the kid that got them beat in the first place. Positive consequences for bad behavior....wow that is so America today. Borrow money...cant pay it back...it is the bank's fault. Sometimes kids don't get it....until they are spanked....then they shut up real quick.
@sansevieriafilms ....some kids deserve it. I was the last generation that went through corporal punishment in school. Notice how the kids now are little bastards...why is that?
I can verify this mother's story. My daughter had this teacher last year. she had just turned 5 in July. I found out this summer that she was shook, smacked on the leg "hard", screamed at and snapped on the arm. She was told that i she cried she would be put in the hall. She said she only let out two little tears so the teacher would not see. How pitiful is that. The principal acted shocked and later only said the teacher could not imagine what my daughter was talking about.
I'm sorry that our government has not yet done the right thing, banning corporal punishment for the protection of children. But let's work together and have it stopped. Please look at my youtube called: Nationwide Campaign to Ban corporal Punishment in US Pubic Schools, and let me know if you could help.

Dear Sansevieriafilms,
I agree with you. She absolutely should be fired. No pussyfooting around about that one!
I believe the parent thinks so too, but sometimes people are intimidated to say it all.
Thanks for keeping in touch.

I do disagree on one thing. I feel the teacher does need to be fired if she is doing things like this.
