the lyrics fit Luke because that's what he was - one big question. WILL this Skywalker be everything we hope he'll be? Anakin wasn't a question, he was a debate - half of the Jedi thought he was the chosen one and the other half thought he was just a gifted student.

Anakin LISTENED to the lies of Palpatine and the Empire - Luke didn't. Obi-Wan and Yoda wanted Luke to kill Vader, instead he redeemed him - so he wasn't the weapon they wanted him to be.

Not to mention the fact that the primary theme through the song - Luke wanting to 'feel real' (I.E the force and his connection with his father) is majorly NOT something Anakin wanted since all he wanted was power... Luke wanted answers.

His whole life Luke was on big misfit... he wasn't as reckless as his friends but he wasn't an even tempered farmer. Obi-Wan UNDERSTOOD this and knew Luke (the two were a lot alike) better than anyone else.

Plus, the song outright saying that the Sith couldn't tell him who to be and him not being what the Jedi see or think he is (the killer of Vader) and the part about Palpatine and Vaders words just being whispers and lies suit LUKE not Anakin.

But Luke learned from Anakin's mistakes. He may have listened to him if he didn't fear becoming the monster Vader was.

Sorry, but just so you know- Anakin IS and ALWWAYS WAS the Chosen One. HE was the one to kill Palpatine in the end, not Luke. Even though it TOOK him a while. But yeah- good video!

Why do I keep have ephifinies(SP?) concering videos using this song? First it was various Disney movies. And now Star Wars. This was a great video. I loved the beging the most. That part is my favorite from the 1st movie. But the whole thing was all good. Like you said, this song rocks and totaly fits Luke.
