  • west is da man

  • we need more cowbell bobby!

  • God. Whats happened to Spiral Stairs???

  • @MrTriss83 The same thing that will happen to you... he's 43, inherited male pattern hair loss, the natural course of things... he just had the bad luck to be best friends with the rock and roll Peter Pan/Dorian Gray.

  • Thanks for sharing...they haven't lost the magic, and seem to really appreciate sharing their music after so long.

  • Needed more cowbell

  • seeing them in 5 days, so pumped

  • all the songs are still awesome but a lot of them sound v.90's

  • if by very 90s, you mean not dancey, emo, unoriginal, lameness, then I agree, this does sound very 90s.

  • what does that even mean..

  • all I meant was (and I hope I don't sound like an old man w/"a back in my day..." rant) is that good music is good music. Labeling music based on when it was made strikes me as slightly close-minded. Compared to the "underground" music of today (which I still follow very closely), this sounds fun and inventive.

  • @apolson310

how am i close minded. if anything yr close minded for believeing that sounding good and sounding dated are mutually exclusive. sounding 90s was not a criticism. its a fact for most of their songs. maybe yr not familiar with it, but there is a distinct 90s indie sound that pavement and a lot of other bands fall into. and what does sounding fun and inventive have to do with sounding 90s. again, not mutually exclusive...

  • @malkberg Silence Kid dumbass it was a typo

  • @TrophyBass12 Sorry, dumbass, but it says 'Kit' on every reissue of the album since the original typo. They write 'Kit' on their setlists. It's 'Kit.'

  • @malkberg "Due to an ink splodge on the back of the original artwork, the song originally named "Silence Kid" has become known as "Silence Kit". This misnomer persisted when designer Mark Ohe printed it onto the back of the re-issue Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain: LA's Desert Origins, despite the interior artwork showing the intended name in print several times, including written in Stephen Malkmus's own handwriting."

Wikipedia said. Sorry I was mean though, I thought it was funny at the time haha

  • Their songs are still so current, " not oldies" like many reunion tours, just show how good they were/are!!!
