I haven't actually played Sins enough to comment too much on the difference in strategy, but my logic is that larger arena + fewer units = At least a lot more micro-ing + more planning.

@SomethingScanning sins is completely different. It is a game based solely in outer space and has no terrestrial battles whatsoever. As far as the amount of strategy needed to achieve victory, both games are terrific

imo this game doesnt really require a lot of strategy as long as u have land and air cover its quite easy just mass units and attack

I would so play these people, they looked like they kinda lacked skill, mass extracters wern't expanded, the fat boy didn't use it's range to shoot the cybran from a distance, and sending your commander against that big of a force with little support is unwise, i'll still lose to normal AI, i just know the basics and what to and not to do.

Try to play a round on cybran. just build an air factory real quick and rush with the t1 gunship. Normal ai doesn't build air defense in the beginning.

if u go on "artic refuge"(a map) the enemys make air units and air defences even if its normal ai

You're getting your ass kicked unnecessarily hard because you're not moving your units in formation. Towards the end of the video your units are just scattered, which means their firepower isn't concentrated.

You wouldn't have won against those numbers anyway, but you would have taken more enemy down.

I find one of the best tactics to be a tech 1 ferry point rush towards the back of their base and using your Commander as a suicide to destroy most of their defence.

The Loyalist has a tactical missile deflector, they send tactical missiles back to their origin if it gets close to them. Mobile missile launchers are just mobile tactical missile launchers :)

That was a pretty awesome video! I liked the way it showed a wee bit of building up and expanding before the fighting really began. UEF commander got owned at the end though, bad way to lose considering UEF seemed to dominate throughout the game. All in all it was ace, very entertaining. Nice work!

my advice, don't buy an 8800 card. prefer a 4850. is cheap and it is as powerful as a 9800gtx

You are right about the 4850 being good, but it's only cuz the 9800 GTX is Garbage. The 4870 blows the 9800 GTX outta the water

I guesw you're opponent didn't know how to query up build orders. Understandable though - that sorta thing takes time to fully understand and use second-nature. lol
