  • i live in the sherman area and ever since the b and a went out of buisiness the trains hardly ever come here. They are planning to rip out the tracks this spring, stupid economy

  • awsome

  • I'm not sure which is more shaky, the condition of the rail, or your camera "technique". Gotta love those first tries.

  • amazing footage, I sure miss the BAR

  • Awesome video 5*****

  • Awesome! Thanks for sharing this rare footage. 5/5 stars, & in my faves.

  • That track looks like a really narrow gauge... is that a closed circuit line?

Those cars were rocking like 20 degrees... good post tho.

  • No...it's standard gauge. The train is coming out of Mack Point, which is one of Maine's larger shipping ports. There is a large oil terminal down there too and that oil is probably going up to one of the paper mills in Millinocket, ME. At the time, the BAR interchanged with Guildford/Maine Central, Canadian Pacific, and Canadian National Railroads.

  • I didn't know you liked trains too

  • I love them...they steered my career into Engineering.

  • You sure do love your trains now don't you :P Thanks for sharing

    Peace :)
