well you die by getting hit off the screen then there can be the explosion thingy so maybe the explosion glitched or something and froze you in the middle of exploding? at a result there is a glitched explosion on the screen and your not dead (which seems to piss off rayquaza and i wonder how it would be to fight him like that lol....)....

No, The very first copies of brawl, Had glitches that, In further copies, Could not be found, If you look up "Fire black hole glitch brawl" that is a glitch only the first copies could do, They were a few bugs found besides these, Same goes for some pokemon games, Like in my pokemon white, I have been researching WHY there are no pokemon in white forest, I beat the game pretty fast, And I visit white forest a lot! but no pokemon, And I got my white on the first day so I am a little worried.

I dunno as to HOW it happened, as I've never had it, nor did you show the part leading up to it...

But, the only thing that comes to mind is that the Glitchy Stuff on the front IS Marth. Even in the picture that you linked to, the coloring sure seems to match Marth for both yours and the other one.

I've seen some interesting glitch effects myself as well, and I'm pretty sure that's somehow it. (I also don't have any cheats/mods and use both a Japanese AND an English Wii, with Brawl for both).

Something weird happened when I fought Porky... He did his quick dash off-screen, killing my Ness in the process... then when Lucas spawned afterward, Porky just got stuck in limbo off-screen. You could hear his machine moving, but he was going nowhere, and you couldn't see him either. It was... awesome, to say the least. LOL.

That line isn't over the top of the TV, it's part of the game, hence why it's a glitch, and hence why the pause menu goes ABOVE it. How else could the pause menu go ABOVE it? That was the point of showing that.

I think that the streak actually IS the character.

That would explain why the color of the streak varies by character, and why the game thinks that the character is still there.
