  • Hortons routine was so much more exciting, this routine just finds all the easier overranked skills in the bogus code, it's dumb how high that start value is

  • @hames100 i would agree and disagree because Danell has more style, your right John does have all those big skills, but 1st day all of his releases were close and he had to muscle and pull them over, i have worked and trained with both of these guys, they are both freaking amazingg i just think Donny has got more style, allowing him to have such a high start value, plus the leuikin itself is an F and basically is a 1 point skill.

  • @dcdrod i guess but watching these two routines i would never guess that his start value was almost a point higher. hortons looks harder.

  • @hames100 so a more exciting routine should have a higher difficulty even if its not as hard? danell can do every single skill horton can do on high bar

  • Was te start value a 16.9 or the score a 16.9?

  • that dismount was breathtaking :))

  • Can't believe this is my Cuz

  • wow!!

  • 15,9 would be ok. 16,9 is way to high!!!!

  • @supaja why? because 16.9 is a high score?

he has a 7.7 D-score so he had a 9.2 voor E-score, if you look to this routine you see no mistakes so 16.9 is a very decent score, to bad it isn't a 17.

  • @Reyertjuh his routine was excellent, no question, but his d-score is to high. he has 7.1 or 7.3, i,m not sure. i think the e-score is ok. maybe 9.0 would be ok. if you look at uchimura at the wc high bar finals 2011, you will see that even him has got a lower e-score

  • @supaja d-score can't be to high, it stands for difficulty!! if he is so good at HB he can have a D-score of 7.7 its not about the judges to do his d-score. its just a fact he has a 7.7! sorry for bad english.

  • @Reyertjuh

in usa the judges can give bonification for special elements, but it´s only at national championships. at world championships there are no special bonifications, so danell would have 7.1 or 7.3 in normal case ;-) that´s why i said it´s to high ;-)

  • @supaja o ok, i understand, i didn't know that. sorry for the misunderstanding

  • @Reyertjuh no problem ;)

  • I love watching him on high bar, he's just so good at it!

  • il pete des gueules

  • USA gymnastics wants to see gymnasts attempting big tricks and doing them cleanly, and not easy routines that get good scores because of good execution. Therefore the gymnasts with the bigger skills ( I.e higher start values) get a bonus for attempting bigger tricks

  • @D15Productions that makes sense, but its completely unrealistic. obviously the best guys are going to do very difficult sets with good execution. the incentive for that is all the other stellar highbar workers such as epke zonderland, zou kai, phillip boy, etc. who all have starts above 17 and are quite clean. no other countries have such rules implemented. i just cant take it seriously. 16.2 wouldve been realistic maybe even 16.4, btu 16.9 is way over the top

  • execution was judged correctly... didnt believe it when i saw the score (understanding the added bonus) but he legitimately did a 9.2-9.4 execution set.. stop being inhuman Danell

  • WOW! I don't really agree with the added bonus that USAG adds, seems kinda silly to me, but this routine is beautiful. He made it look very easy. Good for him.

  • Aww... he took out his in-bar endo. He released for his layout kovacs sooo late!! I was scared for him!!

  • fantastic routine but so unbelievably overscored!!! how on earth did they give this 7.7 difficulty! tak full yam= .4 +.4+.2 connection. layout kovacs =.5, liukin=.6, hope 1.5=.3, tak half tkachev=.4 +.4+.2 connection, jam hop=.4, endofull=.4, lay double double=.5.... .4+.4+.2+.5+.6+.3+.4+.4+.2+.4+.4+.5+= 4.7 plus 2.5 in EG= 7.2 difficulty

  • @gymkid1023 This routine recieved bonus. In the USA Nationals gymnasts can receive bonus for certain things. For example sticking a skill os D value or more and 17 start value vaults are worth more.

  • @SaltoGymNI i knew they did that with the vaults to encourage gymnasts to do 2 difficult vaults.. but what do u mean 17 start values are worth more? jsut for having a start value of 17 you recieve bonus? i don't see why usa gymnastics sugar coats the competition like this
