  • This car is for The Avengers!!!!!!

  • The lights on prototype car are very stylish, but on the selling model they look rubbish! :(

  • mdx is not a crossover, rdx is tho

  • Really reminds me of a 1970 Chevelle or Dodge Charger. I wonder if how it would be on rough roads and in light off road conditions.

  • wow, the shapes and colors these Acura designers have used... are both unreal and futuristic at the same time. love it.

  • The Infiniti FX35 and FX50 and BMW x6 are way better than this.

This isn't even a true Japanese vehicle. It's built in Canada, like other Acura's that are built in fucking Dublin, Ohio by rednecks, unlike Infiniti which is actually built by Japanese people in Japan. Infiniti and BMW offer way more technology and power with their "Coupe like Crossovers". Only 300HP are you fucking kidding me? FX and x6 are pumping out nearly 400+ HP with the x6 doing a little over 400HP.

    FAIL

  • @MichaelopticZ I like the way your talking my friend. I agree 100%

  • @MichaelopticZ the X6 is made in mexico by people that cant read... the "400 HP" u speak of in the X6 and FX 45 use V8 engines. actually, as i might recall, the 4.5 liter infiniti V8 engine makes only 320 HP, just 20 more than the V6 Acura engine. oh, and the V8 german engine only gets to 400 HP after slapping on TWO turbochargers. so, you FAIL

  • The Infiniti FX 35/50 and the BMW x6 are light years better than this.

Just to let anyone know, Acura is not even true Japanese cars like Infiniti is. The Acura ZDX is built in fucking Canada, and some other built in fucking Dublin, Ohio by a whole bunch of hick rednecks. None are built in Japan. Infiniti and BMW offer way more technology and are light years powerful than the ZDX. Wow only 300 HP? Fuck that! Just rebadged Honda's more like it. Acura doesn't even exist in Japan.

  • @MichaelopticZ HAa, haaaa...

I was about to say that about how it's just a rebadged honda.

was in the honda dealership & a salesman told me how the zdx & crosstour share many of the same components.

    LOL!

  • @CEEPMDEE its based off of the MDX, not the crosstour. i would much rather take a rebadged honda, than a rebadged nissan, or toyota, or ford, or chevy, or VW(especially), or any other "german engineered" cars made in china and mexico.

  • @teddyd2009 Okay then if that's your thing then cool with me, min

  • @teddyd2009 What do you have against Chinese or Mexican workers?

  • @Knoss everything made in china breaks and is made from complete ass. mexicans? idk, all german cars have insane maintenance on them, so they cant be made very well.

  • @teddyd2009 this is actually japanese, and no, hondas/acauras do not fall apart except after 2 decades. trust me, we have a '93 integra, and runs perfectly. toyota/lexus on the other hand are made cheaply and do fall apart, our '09 camry interior plastic is falling off already

  • @MichaelopticZ no need to post this 4 times

  • My initial reaction to the "Power Plenum" grille was hideously ugly at worst, avant-garde at best. I'm warming up to it these days though (it also looks better in person). The design has some potential, as Acura has proven with some of its models (ZDX, MDX, TSX, perhaps RDX). But again, they should implement some flexibility to the design so it doesn't look forcibly tacked on in some of their models: it is out of place on the TL and it ruins the RL (the European Legend looks way better!).

  • acura version of new accord crosstour?

  • @billthestinker This looks wayyy wayy wayy wayyy wayyy better than the cross tour. God the cross tour is so ugly

  • not good, it's a compromise and doesn't know what it wants to be. Back doors are awkward and make rear seat access difficult (Globe and Mail review) ...so why have them? Which 2 person family will want to compromise their coupe style when they don't need to and ow many families will forego the style and practicality of a real crossover/SUV for this? i believe it's a design lemon, which is not good for a vehicle that's supposed to define the company image.

  • I like this car a lot, can't wait

  • ZDX should have made it better.........

  • sexy car~ i like it~

  • Cool. I´ll buy one in like 10 years when I can afford something other than food and medicine.

  • Perfect!

  • This is gonna have to contend with the LRX from Land Rover.

  • The production version of this car looks near identical to what you see here. I have seen them and can tell you that little is different. It really is a cool looking car. I know that some people are saying it's an X6 rip off, shape wise perhaps, but this car has much nicer lines.

  • Please keep in mind people that this is still a concept vehicle. It will probably not look the same as it will when it goes into production. I personally hope they leave the front end styled the way it is. It looks like it`s nothing else on the road. So unique yet so beautiful. Way to go Acura! Looks like another icon to keep your brand going strong!

  • If they do decide to make this, the production model will probably not look this extreme. International safety standards, costs of production, and common sense will, in all likelihood, curb the dimensions of the actual car.

  • well, then again, you could look at the RL, and see that production model wont stray too far from this

  • why do they never mention the similarity between this and the BMW X6?

  • jimmyjames: They do, at 1:15

  • lol, I see.

  • Best Acura ever to date

  • LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!

  • if you put that much stuff in the back of the vehicle you will not be able to see with the rear view mirror. Poor design, the back shouldn't be sloping down.

  • EEW... The roofline is too extreme, the front is too large, the rear just seems to cut off, and it looks like its trying to decide if its a coupe, sedan, or SUV. It looks like a bad concept from the late 90's with all those blue lights.

  • I don't like it either. I wish Acura would finally make a car that competes with its far more attractive competitor, Infiniti. The G37 is gorgeous!!! ..and that new hardtop convertible they're making the G37 coupe in??? Let's just say Acura needs to step their game up.

  • This took cues from the Honda Insight. Especially in the rear area. Yeah, the interior is nice, but the body will have to grow on you.

  • First! It looks ok. I love the interior but the exterior looks crappy..but im first now neg me lol I wanna see how many I can get..
