  • Crazyness. I love that Naoki can pull off crazy tracks like he does.

And, yes, Naoki had involvement with all the songs used. 1998, B4U, D2R, Can't Stop Fallin' in Love, Broke My Heart, Love Again Tonight (For Melissa Mix) are made with Naoki's main alias, NAOKI. AFRONOVA Primeval, Matsuri Japan, and bag are all by RE-VENGE, with is a Naoki alias. The Legend of Max is Double Zeta (Or Double Z, or ZZ), which is an alias. PARANOiA = by Naoki, and Naoki is a part of BeForU, instrument wise

  • Afro is freaking me out xD

  • lies.....i'll give an exeption: Afronova isnt from NAOKI its from R-venge,the same for bag.

  • R-venge is still NAOKI it just he is using different name for it

  • 0.0.....wtf!!rly?

  • yea

  • this game is like a beatmania game than a ddr =/

  • True, though that's not a bad thing. To tell you the truth I'm not too fond of Beatmania; I gave it my best but I just couldn't get into it. The songs may have had something to do with it.

There's a HUGE variety of music in the Pop'n Music series ranging from J-pop to Country, Blues to Anime Theme Songs, Rap to Yodeling. You're guaranteed to find music you like and an overall outstanding series. :)

  • Agreed, most of Beatmania's songs seem rather generic and repetitive. You can almost always find something new that you've never seen before in Pop'n.

  • 1.1998 2.B4U 3.D2R (a little bit of it) 4.AFRONOVA 5.Matsuri Japan 6.bag 7.Cant Stop Falling In Love 8.Broken My Heart 9.Love Again Tonight 10.Dive (little part) 11.Legend of MAX & PARANOiA (mixed) P.S. cool megamix
  • This list is correct.

  • hope they make these games on ps3, since then i can import them and not have to worry about region encoding.

  • Should be DDR and DMX megamix, since MATSURI JAPAN and Broken My Heart originate from there..

  • Why not just call it a Naoki megamix, since it's all his songs.

  • wrong...in this video only "Cant stop falling love","you broke my heart" n "b4u" are from naoki

  • You're forgetting D2R, 1998, love again and tonight. But technically, all of these songs are from naoki media except for Dive, which is BeForU.

  • Naoki produced BeForU's music.

  • Naoki also produces some of BeForU's songs... I think xD

  • his? i though naoki was a girl lol

  • i'd really like to know if this is in any arcades..>.>

  • Naoki pretty much owns DDR.

  • Okay, I thought something was kinda weird when I was listening to it again. it is Legend of Max... and I'm almost positive ZZ is another one of Naoki's psuedonyms. He does a lot more songs on DDR and other bemani games than most people think. >.<

  • Yeah, I double checked my info, and every song in this mix was composed by NAOKI under various psuedonyms. ^^

  • Right you are, sir, but thats no surprise. Naoki has had a hand in creating about 60% (or more) of the music in All of the DDR arcade games... less so in the Home versions though, because the home versions all suck nuts.

  • I KNOW THE SONGS!! lol i play to much DDR, the 1st one is 1998 by Naoki, the second is B4U also by Noaki, the third one is Afronova, i dont know the fourth one, or the fifth, i know the sixth is by Naoki because its in the Naoki Megamix, the seventh is a version of PARANOiA thats all i know

  • Your 1st through 3rd are correct. 4th is Matsuri Japan, 5th is bag, 6th is Can't Stop Fallin' in Love, 7th is Broken My Heart, and 8th is Love Again Tonight. I think 9th is Insertion, and 10th is PARANOIA survivor MAX, I think. And every song in this is by Naoki under different pseudonyms.

  • OKay, you're correct up to Love again tonight, 9th is Dive for about 5 seconds. The final song is Legend of Max, by ZZ. There is also a two note tribute to Paranoia at the end, which may have throw you off. There is also a brief lyrical tribute to D2R between B4U and Afronova. See, I have no life, I know all these by heart. :3

  • I KNOW THE SONGS!! lol i play to much DDR, the 1st one is 1998 by Naoki, the second is B4U also by Noaki, the third one is Afronova,

  • Am I the only one who finds it a bit weird that all but two songs are on one of the Beatmanias? (Yeah, yeah, two of them are different versions, but you know what I mean.)

  • Ummmmm, where was paranoia? FYI the music between the vocals of Dive and LoM are from the end of Dive.

  • Also: It's technically Afronova Primeval and not original Afronova.

Also: Why can't half of you watching this identify songs properly and constantly ask for songs not on Pop'N. I mean I'm not big on Pop'N but I know only a small handful of DDR songs made it on Pop'N and vice versa. And not all are from DDR. DDR Extreme credids Matsuri Japan being from DMX as well but I recall only the J-Summer mix being on it.

    ...But enough nit picking.

  • No stupid. Both are from DMX then were ported to DDR.

  • You showed us... your ultimate dance. Thank you very much. I can't stop crying buckets of tears!

  • buaha.. buahahahaha....

  • This really should be renamed the Naoki Megamix, hahaha.

  • haha yepp IT SHOULD!

  • I agree. Why? Because some of those songs are not original to DDR. Which ones? AFRONOVA PRIMEVAL and BROKEN MY HEART are from DanceManiaX.

  • Seriously, though. It's all Naoki.

  • DUDE WHAT IS THIS GAME PLAYED WITH!? A GUITAR THING LIKE GUITAR HERO, OR A DANCE MAT!! Its an awsome game anyway.

  • Neither. It's played with (if you have the arcade style controller) 9 "pop" buttons that are about as big as the palm of your hand. Maybe you should, you know, check out Pop'N Music on Wikipedia or google before you ask such questions ;)

  • This is a mixed DDR songs. Can't stop falling in Love, You broke my heart, Taste the world, Afronova and other songs from Pop N Music game. Absolutely awesome.

  • That was an awesome song. There was like Break Dow,Can't Stop Falling In Love, every thing.I wan tthis game so bad!T-T

  • whatkind of ddr is that? i wonder, ive never see

  • You know what I recognize? These songs are all by Naoki.

  • -_- Its not working,it only goes up to 4 secs with me o.o

  • Your problem must either be an issue with your own computer or perhaps YouTube was having a hiccup at the time; it seems to be working fine for everyone else :x

  • none of those are pop'n music songs. mokai only posts pop'n music songs.

  • Thanx, but i'd really rather talk to Mokai about it...and I believe I said I didn't know what songs were on which game...I think i'm out of suggestions for now anyways.

  • Uhmm, I don't know any of the songs from Pop'n Music, so please don't think i'm retarded, Mokai...but I want to request I'm Gonna Get Ya by Kelly Cosmo, Love Shine by Riyu Kosaka, Break Down by BeForU, and A Stupid Barber by Sho-T. Thank you!

  • Sorry, but none of the songs you have listed has made it into Pop'n Music yet. Love Shine is, however, a beatmania song. Doing a search for it you should find a gameplay video :)

  • I already did and it's in my favorites list actually...thank you anyway. I swear, you're almost a Japanesemania GOD... And I do believe there is a Speed Mix to Can't Stop Fallin' in Love. What about that? And Mobo Moga by Orange Lounge? Or the full version of Afronova? Not to mention DROP OUT...HEEHEE...either Drop Out version is fine, if they're on there. (I think Drop Out is by NW260 or something like that...)

  • Pop'n may have 9 buttons but the whole game is much more mellower than IIDX. The difficulty caters to all skills from the most hopeless beginners to the most hardened veterans. It's extremely easy to get into, as well as extremely hard to master (ffff, Vairocana, Barique Howdown, all are tough on EX). That's why it's the most popular rhythm game in Japan now. It beats IIDX, DDR, GF/DM in sales and popularity.

  • O.o

  • Do you play Dance Dance Revolution, In The Groove, or Stepmania? You're playing very familar songs in the MEGAMIX. Good Music!

  • Yes, yes and yes :)

  • woooww.

  • Is that a home version? (How would you play a home version with so many buttons?

  • its not working for me. it gets to 10 seconds and then stops.

  • I thought the notes on Pop'n Music is BPM-independent, like GFdm?

  • What exactly IS this? I've never seen this before... If it involved your fingers, I'm out.. I hate that stuff... DDR is only fun because you are getting your whole body into it. For me, anyhow. Not to dog it if you like it.

  • Pop'n Music. It's like beatmania IIDX, but it has 9 buttons.

  • well... It uses your entire hand to press a button ^^;

  • i could name all the songs from this vid if i wanted to. but ill pass.

  • wow

  • Hah, I love your name. Ranma is an awesome, awesome series.

  • I THINK SO TOO!

  • Thank you very much; I don't play the Max's enough to know the difference :p I'll update right away.

  • MAX 300, MAxX UNLIMITED, THE LEGEND OF MAX, MAX 300 SUPER-MAX-ME Mix, MAX. (PERIOD), and the new Fascination MaxX... all 6 of them for future reference. ^_^

  • I'm pretty sure the one here is spelled "Maxx" and not "Max"...because I kinda have DDR Extreme so I think I would know...

  • TLoM is spelled with one "X".
