  • look like magnets from the magnetron of a microwave oven ... two very strong donut mags are in a magnetron ... worth taking the old microwave apart for them.

  • @snorkellisab these magnets are from radio shack. They are ceramic magnets and not very strong

  • i did this with square magnets and it worked great thanks .

  • @theonethatgoofs cool!

  • Very nice. I think that if the magnets are too strong there is the possibility that they will move.

  • great and functionally ! i tried this with 3 magnets from old speakers , same dimension... :)

  • did it work?

  • yes, and it worked very fine with magnets taked from the magnetron of microwave ovens... Before it work , ive tried more and more position. After 3 or 4 oscillations , magnets dont maintain position . sorry for my bad bad english

  • sorry, i never replied to your comment. You should use a piece of paper under the magnets. It is important to have some friction under the magnets.

  • Nice!
